Utensil Holders featuring Newton's Thanksgiving IPC 84

Welcome to the second half of the current Inky Paws Challenge.
In case you just joined us, here’s is the current inspiration.

With Thanksgiving coming up, I wanted to do something geared toward fall.
Newton's Thanksgiving Is the perfect Stamp Set for this!

Utensil Holders a project by Diane Morales | Newton's Thanksgivng Stamp Set by Newton's Nook Designs

This project starts off with this punch board.
I know this is not a Newton's Nook product, but most
everybody has this in their crafty Arsenal.

If not, this is a standard pattern for most electronic die cutting machines.
I decided to stamp and color in my images first, this would
determine what kind of printed paper I would use.
I chose not to go too crazy with my colors and kept them very fall-like.
While my turkeys were drying, I selected some printed paper
and punched out the treat boxes
When assembling them, only close one end.

Next, I cut a 1 1/2 x 3-inch strips of cardstock to match my printed paper.
I glued my “turkey” to one side and stamp my sentiment on the bottom.
I love a finished edge, so I trimmed out the bottom in a banner shape.
Finally, I tied my burlap ribbon around my box and slid my “turkey” under the ribbon.
I chose to use my boxes as utensil holders, but you can certainly fill them with treats.
With Thanksgiving coming, I hope this inspires you to do something cute for your table.

Thanks for stopping by I hope you enjoyed my inspiration.

Have a great week.
