Hello
and Welcome
Happy
New Year
The first
card of the year, something super fun!
For
this project I used
A quick and effortless way to make a card is to use a stamp
for the background.
For this card I used the cherry stamp
from Valentine Postage Sampler.
I stamped the image onto white
cardstock in a very random pattern.
The next thing I did was take my Copic
E40 brick white marker
and trace around each stamped image.
This little bit of highlighting will
add some definition.
I use the large, stitched rectangle from the Basic Frames Die Set to cut out my card front.
I attached this front to a card front to a Kraft-colored cardstock
card base.
I also stamped out three additional extra
cherries which are colored and die cut out.
Using circle dies from my stash, I used
a 2 ½ circle that I cut using red cardstock.
Also an inner 2-inch circle of white
cardstock.
I layered these two pieces together
and attached this piece to the center for the card front.
My cherries are attached to the top of
the circle with foam tape.
Using a strip of the same red card
stock, I created a banner
using the “love & kisses” that is
included in the stamp set.
To complete this card I added some
black gems to my card front
and sparkles to my cherries using a glitter pen.
Hope you have an awesome New Year
Stay crafty my friends!
