Kitty Tags IPC 75

Welcome to a NEW Inky Paw’s Challenge!
For this challenge we have something totally fun.

I love tags! I do not make enough of them.

This tag starts out with the Newton Loves Boxes Stamp Set.
I stamped my images out and colored them in with Distress Ink,
keeping in mind that I wanted to stay with earth tone colors.
I also picked coordinating paper to go with the colors I used on my images.
Using Kraft paper for the base of the tag, I cut my tags out using the Fancy Edges Tag Die Set. Die-cutting out the patterned paper to go with the tags at the same time.
I created a little flair in the background by using one of the Fancy Edges from the Die Set and the rubber mat from my Cuttlebug to emboss into the tag.

I finished everything out with twine for the top of the tag and sentiments from the Newton Loves Boxes Stamp Set.
I hope the this give you some inspiration to create your own tag and share it with us using the challenge picture above and linking into the challenge.
Thanks for stopping by. I can’t wait to see how you get your Paws Inky.
Have a great week.
Hugs

Christmas Stamp Remix with Summer Colors IPC 74

We are at the halfway point of the current Inky Paws Challenge
In case you missed out first post, we have a fun set of colors for you to use.

I love to stretch my stamps and mix stamp sets up.
For this inspiration, I decided to challenge myself.

Congrads a card by Diane Morales| Snow Globe Scenes Stamp Set by Newton's Nook Designs

I grabbed two of my favorite holiday stamp sets Snow Globe Scenes and Festive Forest
along with the challenge colors and put a Twist on some holiday favorites.
I got to admit, I did not think that this crazy thought was going to work out.
I sat and stared at the stamps for a good 15-20 minutes and then the idea came to me.
The obvious choice to use the green in the challenge colors for trees.
It was just all a matter of deciding on how to use the blue and yellow on the houses.
After a test of the colors and a failed attempt, I chose to go with alternating colors
on the houses and adding in brown and tan roofs and doors as accent colors.

Finishing this card, I decided to keep the rest simple.
I use the inner rounded corners die from
the Frame and Flag Die Set and made a card out of that.
The sentiment comes from the NEW and TOOOO CUTE !!
Newton Love’s Boxes Stamp Set.
Now it is your turn, use the challenge colors and your
favorite stamp set and show us how you get your PAW’S INKY.
Thanks so much for taking the time and stopping by.
As always links to the goodies are below.
Have a great week everybody!

Hugs

You Matter a Whole Bunch IPC 74

Welcome to a new Inky Paws Challenge.
This time we have some brilliant summer colors for you to work with.

Summer is here! Time for a quick card that you could whip up in a flash if you need a thank you or a birthday card on the Fly.
You Matter a card by Diane Morales | Blooming Botanicals Stamp Set by Newton Nook Designs.

This card starts out with Delusion Spray Ink that is just spritzed onto cardstock.
The best part about this is there’s no right or wrong way you just Spritz.

Please make sure you dry the spray ink thoroughly because when you stamp on top of this spray it could smear and run.
Next, I grabbed my Blooming Botanicals Stamp, and stamped over the top of my Inky creation with someVersamark
black ink.

I dipped all of this into clear embossing powder and heat set the ink.
I wanted my sentiment for this card to stand out, so I stamped my sentiment
onto black cardstock and heat set with white embossing powder.
I attached everything to a white cardstock base featuring the largest die from the Frame and Flags Die Set.
Finally, I grab my trustworthy bottle of Glossy Accents and added some
glossy accents to the center of the flowers just to give it some dimension.

Now it is your turn, use the link in the challenge picture above to show up how you get your PAWS INKY.
Thanks so much for taking
the time to drop by.
As always, links to the goodies are below.

Share My Umbrella IPC 73

We are at the half way point of the current Inky Paws Challenge.

Using the sketch and the Umbrella Pals Stamp Set this is what I came up with.
This looks like a complicated card, but it's not.

This card uses embossing powder to create the background.
Embossing powders a lot of fun but it can be tricky to work with.
First thing I did, was to decide what umbrella tops would look best in the background.
All the umbrellas tops that I chose fit perfectly on the stamp block
I was using, leaving one which, was the frog umbrella.
I Versamark stamped the umbrellas tops on to black cardstock then
added the white embossing powder.

I loved the bold look of the background of the card, which
led me into use primary colors on this card.
The red element in the background is bubbly part of the
Sky Borders Die Set that die cut out on both sides.

The banners with the sentiments have been stamped
on is part of the Frame and Flags Die Set.
Now it is your turn! You still time to pull out your stamps and get your paws INKY.
I hope everyone has an awesome week, as always links to the goodies are below!
