Anything Goes Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

Time sure goes by fast when you are having fun!

It is my Final week here at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

Now it is time for a

Everybody’s favorite challenge!

ANYTHING GOES

Featuring Stamps and Dies by Whimsy Stamps

Here at the

When I was cruising the Simon website looking for item to use for the challenge.

I saw this stamp set and I knew I had to use!

I just thought this stamp set is too much fun

Check this out.

My card features the Voo Doo Stamp set by Whimsy Stamps.

I am born in the month of October, so anything Halloween

creepy cool automatically appeals to me.

I just thought this is too much fun!

The “Voo Doo” doll I water colored in using Fossilized Amber,

Scattered Straw, Candied Apple, and Salty Ocean Distress Ink.

Since there is no matching die for this set,

I went “old school” and fussy cut out my image.

The background of this card features Whimsy Stamp’s “Starring Hearts” Paper

that I die cut out using the Wonky Window 1 Die Set.

The Wonky Window 1 Die provided me with a quick patchwork background for my card.

For a last-minute touch, I added on some Glossy Accents

to the button eye and heart of the doll.

I hope that this inspires your top play along with this week

ANYTHING GOES CHALLENGE

Flower Power Inky Paws Challenge 124

Happy Monday its time for a

 NEW Inky Paws Challenge!

You are going to love this theme!

Using the Lovely Blooms Stamp Set I came up with this card.

Flower Power a card by Diane Morales using the Lovely Blooms Stamp Set bt Newton's Nook Designs

I LOVE this stamp set. What a perfect challenge to pull it out and ink it up!

I really wanted the card base to stand out, so I used the rounder bloom

and Pickled Raspberry Distress Oxide Ink stamped on bright pink cardstock.

A simple circle of white cardstock is the background for my

cute lollypop flowers that are stamped using the same round bloom.

I used my go-to colors of Wilted Violet, Carved Pumpkin, Salty Ocean

and Twisted Citron to color in my flower and foliage.

The “hello” sentiment is from the Newton’s Birdhouse Stamp Set.

I simple bright card sure to brighten up someone’s day!

Now it is your turn!

Recycle It Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

Its my third week here at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

What a great time I been having sharing my take on the challenges with you!

Now it is time for a

We incredibly unique challenge for you

It all about “RECYCLE” featuring our very own Simon Says Stamp Product!

Here at the

Times are interesting to say the least right now.

Some of us are looking to stretch our stamp stash.

For my take on “recycle” I used a kind of stamp set that everybody has in their stash

 the snowflake!

Sit back with a snack and let me show you how.

Using the Snowflake Builder Stamp Set by Simon Say Stamp.

I stamped one of the larger snowflakes in a random pattern on

white cardstock with Black Versamark Ink.

I set my ink with clear embossing powder.

You can skip this step, but make sure that your ink WILL NOT RUN.

Next, I used one of the smaller snowflakes to add “texture” between the larger flakes.

I did heat set these white embossing powder.

Now you can grab your favorite markers and color in the snowflakes.

When I finished coloring my snowflakes, I thought they looked a little boring and too much like snowflakes, so I spruced them up a bit by adding dots with a Black Sharpie.

I die cut this into a finishing card size using the Memory Box Rectangle Basics Set.

For the finishing touch, I used a sentiment from

Delicate Flowers by Simon Says Stamp

This is stamped onto the Stitched Banner from the

Frames and Flags Die Set by Newton Nook Designs.

Now it is your turn! What and how will you “recycle”.

I almost forgot the good news!!

The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp are generously giving away a FABULOUS $25

voucher to shop at the  Simon Says Stamp Store!

All winners are chosen randomly, so everyone has an equal chance to win!
