Happy Haunts IPC 56

Welcome Everyone and Happy Fall!

This is my favorite time of year. The weather is cooler.
The holidays are right around the corner.
The colors in nature outside are so rich and vibrant.
The purrrfect time to have a Inky Paws Color Challenge.
These are some of my favorite colors! Not just for obvious reasons,
but because they are just a whole lot of fun to play around with.

For this challenge I could not resist, I just had to do it.
YES! a Halloween Card.

Happy Haunts a card by Diane Morales | Spooky Street Stamp Set by Newton Nook Designs

This card features one of my favorite Halloween Stamp Sets ever!!  "Spooky Street".
This card I was all in. The background is Distress Ink. I started with black on the edges,
and worked my way into the center of the card using a different shade of purple each time.
Remember there, is NO WRONG WAY TO DO THIS.
Just grab some ink and mess with it till you see what you like.
The haunted moon is just a die-cut circle with the same Distress Ink technique.
The star of this show is the Haunted Manson. I stamped the image and fussy cut it out.
I left everything white, because I wanted that pop of white to off-set all the colors on the card.
Now it is your turn. You may not celebrate Halloween, that's OK use the colors anyway you want.
The important thing is that you take some crafty time and get your Paws Inky.
Don't for get to link up your projects, using the Link on the picture above.
We want see what you created and you could win a credit or be featured!
Thanks for stopping by.
Links for the stamps are below
 Bye for now.

to see how everyone has interpreted the challenge.
For me, this challenge has inspired my to play with
patterned paper and see what develops.

Best of Cluck Card By Diane Morales | Chicken Scratches Stamp Set by Newton Nooks Designs.

I just started to mix and match paper until I came up with a combo that I liked.
When I came up with the current colors that I chose,
I knew that I could only use one stamp set to make this card come together.
"Chicken Scratches"
I love this stamp set. Lots of Stamps to mix and match with.
The perfect Stamp Set to complete the country feel of my card.
Now it is YOUR turn.
Take some time for yourself and get your Paw's Inky.

Bon Jour IPC 55

Hey everyone!
Are you ready for a
 NEW
 Inky Paws Challenge !
This time it is all about the sketch.

I have to admit when I first saw this sketch, it sent my mind spinning.
Not one to back down from a challenge.
I took some time to think and came up with this.

Bon Jour a card by Diane morales| Newton dreams of Paris Stamp Set by Newton Nook Designs

Layering is not one of my strengths.
I always struggle on where to put what.
I wanted to "stretch my creative muscles"
So, I started with the stamping first.
The stamps are from "Newton Dreams of  Paris" Stamp Set.
The colors that I used for the stamped images
determined the colors that I was going to be using for the rest of the card.
I know I wanted to use some printed paper.
(stretching that creative muscle )
Then I just reverse engineered the card.
Starting with the shaped background and working up to the stamped images
I just played with everything until I got it right.
I LOVE the end result, but... it did me awhile to put it all together.
Now it is YOUR TURN.
YOU have two weeks to Get those Paws Inky.
That is September 22nd.
The Link is on the Challenge picture,
and as always links to the stamps are below.
Have a amazing week and
Thanks for dropping by.

Looking Sharp IPC # 54

We are at the halfway point of the current Inky Paws Challenge.

In case you did not know it is all about the POLKA DOTS!

I had a little fun with card.
I may have gone a little overboard on this one.

Looking Sharp Card bt Diane Morales | Cultivated Cacti Stamp Set by Newtons Nook Designs

HUGE fan of the "Cultivated Cacti Stamp Set.
Lots of awesome stamp choices for mixing and matching.
I wanted to do something different so I die-cut a cut away on the card.
If you don't have dies, you can use one of those pre-cut cards
you can get at your local craft store.
Yes, I stamped the sentiment on the inside (again, I wanted something different)
Here is the shocking part.
The dots.
I had finished the card, then realized I had forgot the dots!
Frantic that I had forgot the main component,
I had to come up with a quick solution.
To the stash I went and grabbed this.

Dot problem solved, and I LOVE the end result!
You still have time to create your own
polka dot creation.
Make some YOU time and get your paws INKY.
Don't forget to link up, we would love to see what you create.
The link for the challenge is above .
Links for the stamp sets are below.
That's all for now
and
Thanks for stopping by

I love polka dots. Polka dots equals fun.

For my inspiration for this challenge,
I grabbed the "Toucan Party" Stamp Set
and just went all in.

As you can see, I have Polka dots everywhere.
A Polka Dot explosion if you will.
The "Toucan Party Stamp Set" is So fun to work with,
and such good inspiration for this challenge.

With all the was going on the front of this card, I chose
to put the sentiment on the inside of the card.

We would  LOVE to see what you would create.
So grab a stamp set and get those paw's inky.
You have till Friday September 8th to link up your creation.
