 Inky Paws Challenge

Here is my take on the challenge sketch.

A card bt Diane Morales using the Tides of Love Stamp Set by Newton's Nook Designs

I knew I wanted to use the TIDES OF LOVE STAMP SET
Why not make this project crazy different with a round shaped card!
I colored in the whale in traditional gray colors,
which I placed on a basic round tag shape.
For the purple waves in the background, I used the

I used the hearts in the stamp set to create the final element from the sketch.
To complete my card, I stamped on a sentiment and added
some purple twine to the top of the tag to tie in with the purple waves.
And that is my inspiration!!!!
I hope this inspires you to create something fun
with challenge sketch and share it with us!

IPC #117 You Move Me!

Happy Monday!
Its time to start a NEW Inky Paws Challenge!
Check out the amazing sketch we have for you!
 inky paw's challenge

When I first saw this sketch, I was not sure what I was going to make.
I know I wanted to use the LOVE QUARRY STAMP SET, but how?

I was browsing thru the Newton’s Nook website when I came across this stamp set.

You see the caution on the top off the stamp set!
I thought to myself “caution tape”
That thought turned into this.

I created the caution tape first.
Easy enough!
I then decide to lay out the card using the
that is chopped slightly at the bottom to fit the card.

The orange heart paper in the background decided the color theme for this project.
I added additional Heart rocks by using just the top of the
dumpster in the same stamp set.

To finish my project, I colored my skip loader in traditional construction colors.
I add the element at the top of the tag, by using some
twine that wrapped my Newton’s Nook Order.

And… that is my inspiration for this challenge!
Now it is your turn!

Happy Camper IPC 116

How is everyone doing!
We are at the halfway point of the current Inky Paws Challenge!
Here is the current challenge.

Along with the challenge colors I came up with this cute tag!

Happy Camper a tag by Diane Morales using Cozy Camper stamp set By Newton's Nook Designs

Digging into my paper stash I created the base of my tag
using red paper with white hearts.
Using the Cozy Camper Stamp Set I created a cute scene.
I used the teal part of the challenge color to color in my camper.

I created my green grassy hill for my camper using the
To finish this tag, I stamped on a sentiment, added on pink Hearts,
and red and white twine.
This tag was so much to make!
I hope that it inspires you to use the challenge colors
To create a fun project and share with us.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Have a great week

Plaid and Daisies IPC 116

Happy Monday everyone!
Time for a NEW Inky Paws Challenge!
 Inky Paw's Challenge
What to do with these colors?
How about a colorful plaid!
Plaid and Daisies a card by Diane Morales using the Plaid Stencil Set by Newton's Nook Designs

Using one part of the Plaid Stencil Set I started my background.
First, I inked my red color.

To add the green, I turned my stencil to the right and
moved it just below the red stripe.

To add the blue stripe, I eyeballed this part.
I lined the stencil between the red and green line.

At this point I realized this was A LOT OF COLOR!!
I wanted to break it up a bit and decided to add the scalloped Frame

My featured stamp is Dainty Daisies
I cut a few extra daisies to fill the frame nicely.

I add a simple sentiment banner to the bottom.
I also used the large postage edge rectangle as the base of my card.
Something different to showcase the amazing challenge colors!
Now it is your turn!
What will you create with these colors?
