We are taking PAWS for an enjoyable book card today.
Black
and White Basics 6x6 Paper Pad
In the Pacific Northwest
we love our pets and books!
Nothing better than to
curl up with a delightful book and your furry friend on a rainy afternoon.
The All Booked Up stamp
set is Purrr-fect for this vibe.
To start this card I
created a background using the
Black, white, and pop of
color is one of my favorite combos.
For this combo I chose
baby blue card stock to be my pop of color.
To mix things up, I
used the Square texture paper from Black and White Basics 6x6 Paper Pad
After cutting out each
individual color using the
I played around with
the pieces until I got the combo that I liked, then
after assembling my
background I set it aside to dry.
Next, they stamped out
my images from All Booked Up
I colored my images
using complementary colors to the background.
Once I was satisfied
with the colors, I cut out my image using the coordinating dies.
To create a place for
my sentiment I used a banner from Frames and Flags Die Set
To assemble my card I
attached the fractured background to a white card base.
I positioned my banner at the bottom of my card first and then
attached my image above it with foam
tape.
To add a bit of extra
interest, I use the paw prints from the stamp set and a few enamel dots.
