Anything Goes - Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

THIS WEEK’S THEME AT THE

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

ANTYTHING GOES

Featuring products by

HONEY BEE STAMPS

You do not have to use the featured company to join in.

But… If you have some of their product in your stash

We would LOVE to see them used.

Here is my take on this challenge.

For this card I used the following product

Teapot and Cup Die Cut

Spring Fling 6x6 Paper Pad

To start my take on the challenge, I created a card base with Sea glass cardstock.

I chose a piece of cardstock form the Spring Fling 6x6 Paper Pad.

I had an to make the tea pot gold and I love the way the paper looked against the gold cardstock I chose.

Next, I die cut my teapot out of gold cardstock.

I also die cut out a circle of white cardstock for my teapot to sit on.

To assemble my card, I cut down the patterned paper to fit to my card base.

I added on my die cut white cardstock with foam tape.

I then placed my teacup on top with the lid slightly ajar.

I needed a sentiment to finish out this card.

I thumbed through my Simon stamp sets and found a sentiment in the “Warm Wishes Stamp Set”

I create a quick sentiment banner with Dessert Storm cardstock and added some white gems.

This completes my take on the challenge.

This completes my take on ANYTHING GOES

Inky Paw's Challenge 187

Hello Inky Paws Fans!

We are at the halfway point of this current challenge.

For this challenge I used the following Newton’s Nook Design’s product.

Christmas Puppies

NEW Christmas Time 6x6 Paper Pad

Slimline Frames and Window Die

The first thing I did was go thru my stash of die cut tags.

I found a large red tag.

A medium white tag

And a small green tag.

I also grabbed the Christmas Time 6x6 Paper Pad.

Now to put everything together.

For the small green tag, I chose matching paper from the paper pad.

I glued the paper over the top of the tag and set the tag aside to dry.

While the glue is drying, I stamped, colored and die cut out the

images from the Christmas Puppies Stamp set.

Next, I die cut the banner from the Slimline Frames and Window Die.

I added the sentiment and added this to the front of the tag.

I trimmed up the edges of the tag and using a similar color of my markers

to cleaned up the white edge with a bit of color.

I also added my image to the front popped up with foam tape.

I finished this tag with some ribbon and turned my attention to the large tag.

I love the Holly paper from the Christmas Time 6x6 Paper Pad.

It matched so well with the red tag.

After cutting a 2 x 4 ½ piece of paper I attached it to the front of the tag.

I decided to use the white tag for the front, so I stamped on a sentiment.

I added my image on top of the tag with foam tape.

I finished the second tag with ribbon at the top.

This completes my take on this challenge.

I Hope this gives you a bit of inspiration for your next project.

Not a Card - Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

THIS WEEK’S THEME AT THE

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

NOT A CARD

Featuring products by

MEMORY BOX

You do not have to use the featured company to join in.

But… If you have some of their product in your stash

We would LOVE to see them used.

Here is my take on this challenge.

For this card I used the following product

GENTLE BLOOMING WATERCOLOR FLORAL DIES

To start my take on the challenge, I used the Large Rounded Tag Die

and cut one tag out of doll pink card stock and one tag out of Audrey blue card stock.

I added some interest and bling to the tag by spraying on Mica Stain.

While the mica stain was drying, I die cut out two sets of the flower and leaf pieces from the die set.

I also die cut the center part of the flower form silver cardstock.

To the edge of the flower, I applied Glossy Accents and dipped the flower in Rock candy glitter.

Once the glitter was dry, I assembled both of my flowers popping up the center part with foam tape.

I also assembled the leaves that I die cut out earlier.

Sampling these tags was very easy I attached the flower to front of the tag,

then glued the leaves underneath and added on sentiments.

Some black and white twine finished off both tags.

This completes my take on NOT A CARD
