Inky Paw's Challenge 186 - Sketch challenge

Hello Inky Paws Fans!

We have a NEW challenge coming your way.

For this challenge I used the following Newton’s Nook Design’s product.

NEW Wreath Pups

NEW Canine Christmas 6x6 Paper Pad

NEW Newton’s Gift (holly for the top of the card)

Using the Challenge Sketch, I created this card.

Coming to you today with a fun card to start of the holiday season.

I stated of by choosing my paper from the Canine Christmas 6x6 Paper Pad.

Next, I decided on my card size and created a card base of 3 ½ x 5 ½.

I cut my plaid paper to create a card front.

To create the element for the card front, I used the corner of white cardstock pointed down.

I traced around the card front with a pencil and then hand cut.

I stamped, colored, and cut out my image from Wreath Pups.

When I put the card together, I felt like the card was missing something.

This is when the crazy idea happened, this card needed sparkle.

I did this by smearing a bit of glue on the pointed corner and adding Rock Candy Glitter.

I cleaned up any extra smears from the glue and let the sparkle dry.

With the sparkle dry, I assembled the card by gluing that piece to the card front.

I stamped on my sentiment.

Added my stamped image on the front with foam tape.

Then, I felt like the top of the card needed something.

Then I read the sentiment again and decided that something was holly.

I noticed that Newton’s Gift has a large Holly stamp that would work great!

I stamped, colored, and cut out six of the holly and arranged them on the top of the card.

This competed the card.

I Hope this gives you a bit of inspiration for your next project.
