Boo HOO IPC 109

We are at the halfway point of the current Inky Paw’s Challenge!
Check out this challenge!

I love this time of year.
It’s time to transition from the spooky good fun of Halloween
 to the milder Thanksgiving holiday.
I used the BOO HOO STAMP SET and created this fun card.

I am totally into Distress Ink
on a background.
I blended in these three colors,
Blueprint Sketch, Salty Ocean,
and Tumbled Glass to create the background.
On top of the background, I used the CASCADING STARS STENCIL and these items.

I smeared the Texture Gloss on top of the stencil.
After scraping of the extra gloss off,
I sprinkled
Ranger Holographic Powder on top of that.
Remove the stencil, but
DO NOT HEAT SET!
Just let everything dry.
The results are AMAZING!

Texture and sparkle!
Adding a finishing touch, I used the
to create the grass in front of my fence.

What a fun challenge!
I hope this inspires you to create and share it with us!
Thanks for stopping by.

Have an amazing week.

Holiday mix-up IPC 109

Welcome to the start of a
New Inky Paws Challenge!
We have a fun challenge for you.

That’s it!
In my humble opinion it is
WAY to early for a Christmas card.
Next to Halloween, Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday.
Who does not dream of thanksgiving
this time of year?
Why not turn that idea into a card.

I love making backgrounds.
With all the space available to show off a background,
why not make something bold!
I started this card with bold pumpkin colored cardstock.
On top of the used some Black Soot Distress Ink and inked
on the first layer of the stencil.

After drying this layer with a heat gun, I embossed on
the second layer of the stencil using
Enchanted Gold embossing powder from Ranger.

The sparke creates a background that makes
you want to take a closer look.

On top of this bold background, I created the
tag element using stamps from the
I also used one of the flags from
 to create my background element.

What a fun time I had creating this card.
I hope this inspires you to get those PAW'S INKY
 and have some craft fun!

Happy Monday!
Welcome to a NEW Inky Paws Challenge.
Get your paws inky with this challenge!

I had so much fun with this challenge!
Check out what I created.

Argyle Fun a card by Diane Morales Argyle Stencil Set by Newton's Nook Designs

Newton’s Nook has so many amazing stencils.
I challenged myself to do something a
little different using the ARGYLE STENCIL SET.
I started with purple heavy weight cardstock.

On top of that I placed the diamond part of the stencil.
I inked the whole thing up with Black Soot Distress Ink.
After drying the ink with a heat gun, I lined up the dotted diamond
part of the stencil over the top and applied Ranger Glossy Texture Paste to the stencil.
Next, I went into my glitter drawer and picked a few different colors.
I liberally sprinkled a whole bunch of glitter on top.

As you can see it is a bit of a mess. But that is what make crafting fun!
After you pull the stencil up, the results are amazing!
SO SHINNY!
I know there are less messy ways to get these results,
but I just love the texture and dimension
that this technique creates!
To complete the sketch, I die cut out a basic tag
and stamped on the

To finish I attached all my pieces on my background.
I had a great time with this sketch.
I hope you take some time
and have some fun with the sketch.
Stretch those crafty muscles!
Hope you have an awesome week.
