Anything Goes - Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

THIS WEEK’S THEME AT THE

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

ANYTHING GOES

Featuring stamps and dies by

STAMPENDOUS

You do not have to use the featured company to join in.

But… If you have some of their product in your stash

We would LOVE to see them used.

Here is my take on this challenge.

My Crafty Item of choice for this challenge is:

Cowlick Sunshine Clear Stamp Set

I started my card by stamping out multiple images from this set.

The butterfly comes as a separate stamp, so I had to carefully stamp that on the top of the sunflower.

Since I was going to fuzzy cut out these images, I like to glue an extra scrap of cardstock on the back.

This give me the stiffness that I need to get clean cuts around the image with no wilted corners.

Now to finish the card.

After a nice long talk with myself (and a cup of coffee) I decided to keep thing CAS.

I grabbed a couple of my favorite dies

Chunky A2 Scalloped Rectangle by Simon Says Stamp

and

Rectangle Basic Set by Memory Box

Using these two dies, I created a card front and base.

Stamping on the sentiment is the first thing did.

Followed by adding on my hand cut image that I popped up with foam tape.

Of course, no card is complete without some

gems from by Little Things from Lucy’s Cards.

This completes my take on ANYTHING GOES

Inky Paw's Challenge 172 - Birthday Theme

Hello Inky Paws Fans!

We have a NEW challenge coming your way.

For this challenge I used the following Newton’s Nook Design’s product.

Oink Stamp Set

Bleat Stamp Set

Moo Stamp Set

Balloon Stencil

Oval Frames Die Set

Land Boarders Die Set

Using all these elements I create this fun shaped card!

To start this card I stamped, colored and die cut out the animals I was using for this card.

I also stamped colored and die cut all the extras I “thought” I was going to use.

To amp up the birthday theme, I used the balloon stencil as my background.

I love how the pink balloons look and it was so simple to do.

Light pink card stock and then inked over the balloons with a darker pink ink.

I used Picked Raspberry Distress ink and when the ink was dry,

die cut out with the oval framed Die

To have a place for my animals to stand I used the Land Boarders Die

and created a grassy area for the bottom of the card.

I added a little bit more color at the top of the Grass with Distress Ink

Using the Oval Frames Die, I created a shaped card.

After attaching my balloon background, and grass I started to layer in my animals.

Once I was satisfied with the placement, I attached all the animals on the front of the card

To finish this card, I stamped on a sentiment and added some fun birthday hats.

And that completes my take on this challenge

Rain or Shine - Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

THIS WEEK’S THEME AT THE

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

RAIN OR SHINE

Featuring stamps and dies by

SUNNY STUDIOS

You do not have to use the featured company to join in.

But… If you have some of their product in your stash

We would LOVE to see them used.

Here is my take on this challenge.

My Crafty Item of choice for this challenge is:

Snail Mail Clear Stamp

So excited to share all the fun elements on this card with you.

When I saw this stamp set, I knew exactly what card I was making.

A mini slimline would be perfect for this challenge.

I die cut out the card front using some white 110 card stock

and Sweet Stacks Mini Slimline by Honey Bee Stamps.

It is way too gloomy here in Portland, so I HAD to choose sunshine.

To create this, I used a stamp from “Hello Sunshine” and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide ink.

I stamped my sun with a fully inked up stamp, and then flipped it around

and stamp my bottom half of the sun with the reminder of the ink on the stamp.

while I waited for the oxide to dry, I stamped and colored all my elements for this card.

With the oxide ink now dry, time to stamp my sentiment over the sun.

Now it is time to place all my other elements around the sentiment.

I pop a few elements up with foam tape because I love layers!

To finish off this card I added a bit of glossy accents and

Created a custom card base for this card with banana card stock

This completes my take on RAIN OR SHINE

Inky Paw's Challenge 171 - Sketch Challenge

Hello Inky Paws Fans!

We are at the halfway point of this current challenge.

Check out this fun Sketch!

For this challenge I used the following Newton’s Nook Design’s product.

(NEW) Tulips

(NEW) Oval Frames Die

(NEW) Springtime 6X6 Paper Pad

Frames and Flags Die Set

Love and Meows 6x6 Paper Pad

This sketch certainly inspires you to layer things up.

I am loving the Springtime 6X6 Paper Pad and used it in this challenge as well.

I also used my all-time favorite die set, Frames and Flags Die Set.

I stared this card with the Tulips Stamp Set.

I stamped and colored the tulip and die cut them out.

Now it was all about deciding the placement of the paper.

One of the sheets in the Springtime 6X6 Paper Pad has tulips on it.

So, this was an obvious choice.

The reverse paper was a lovely green stripe.

The oval frames die was used as well as the Curved Edge Rectangle.

I also die cut out the large Scalloped Rectangle out of white cardstock.

I created a standard card base and to that I added the

red polka dotted paper from Love and Meows 6x6 Paper Pad.

I love the contrast of all the papers together

Next came the striped paper and the tulip paper.

A banner with a sentiment came next.

Finally, the tulips die cut that I popped up with foam tape.

A couple enamel dots to add some flair and this card

 is done.

And that completes my take on this challenge
