THIS WEEK’S THEME AT THE

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

Party!

Featuring products by

SIMON SAYS STAMP

You do not have to use the featured company to join in.

But… If you have some of their product in your stash

We would LOVE to see them used.

Here is my take on this challenge.

For this card I used the following product

CHRISTMAS CHEER STAMP SET

To start my card, I started with card base made with Fog Cardstock.

I grabbed a piece of 110 white cardstock.

I used the largest snowflake from the stamp set and Fog ink.

I stamped the snowflake in a random pattern.

I used one of the medium snowflake and Pumice Stone Distress Oxide.

I stamped those snowflakes in a random pattern around the larger snowflake.

For my last snowflake I chose one of the smaller ones and Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide.

I used this snowflake to fill in between any empty space.

Once the inked snowflakes were dry, I die cut them out

with rectangle die to make my card front.

Next, I stamped the sign that is included in the stamp set on a separate paper.

I colored in the sign with primary color and then stamped the sentiments on the sign.

I do not have the dies for this set, so I just fuzzy cut this image out.

I popped the sign onto my card front with foam tape.

To finish my card, I added some clear sequins.

This completes my take on the challenge.

This also completes my last card for the Wednesday Challenge.

It has been an awesome two years!

Ice Cold - Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

THIS WEEK’S THEME AT THE

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

ICE COLD

Featuring products by

AVERY ELLE

You do not have to use the featured company to join in.

But… If you have some of their product in your stash

We would LOVE to see them used.

Here is my take on this challenge.

For this card I used the following product

DINO-MITE CHRISTMAS

I started the card for this challenge by stamping and coloring the images I wanted to use.

Since I love shaped cards, Ovals were a must for this card.

I made the card base make of Sea Glass cardstock and 3 ½ inch Oval Die.

I also die cut out a 3-inch oval out of white cardstock for the front.

On the card front I stamped the mountains in the background.

I colored in the sky and mountains in with my alcohol markers.

I also used Frosted Lace Stickles to the tops of my mountains to add a bit of bling.

After the stickles had dried, I fussy cut out my images.

Everything was added to my card front with foam tape.

A sentiment is stamped on and then I glued the two layers of the card together.

This completes my take on the challenge.

Not a Card - Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

THIS WEEK’S THEME AT THE

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

NOT A CARD

Featuring products by

MEMORY BOX

You do not have to use the featured company to join in.

But… If you have some of their product in your stash

We would LOVE to see them used.

Here is my take on this challenge.

For this card I used the following product

GENTLE BLOOMING WATERCOLOR FLORAL DIES

To start my take on the challenge, I used the Large Rounded Tag Die

and cut one tag out of doll pink card stock and one tag out of Audrey blue card stock.

I added some interest and bling to the tag by spraying on Mica Stain.

While the mica stain was drying, I die cut out two sets of the flower and leaf pieces from the die set.

I also die cut the center part of the flower form silver cardstock.

To the edge of the flower, I applied Glossy Accents and dipped the flower in Rock candy glitter.

Once the glitter was dry, I assembled both of my flowers popping up the center part with foam tape.

I also assembled the leaves that I die cut out earlier.

Sampling these tags was very easy I attached the flower to front of the tag,

then glued the leaves underneath and added on sentiments.

Some black and white twine finished off both tags.

This completes my take on NOT A CARD

Stencil It - Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

THIS WEEK’S THEME AT THE

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

STENCIL IT

Featuring products by

TIM HOLTZ

You do not have to use the featured company to join in.

But… If you have some of their product in your stash

We would LOVE to see them used.

Here is my take on this challenge.

For this card I used the following product

Tiny Poinsettia Stencil

Holiday Sketchbook

Hello and welcome to my take on the challenge.

I started this tag using Lipstick Red cardstock and a tag die.

Using the poinsettia stencil and Lumberjack Plaid Distress Ink I stenciled on the first layer.

I carefully stenciled on the flower and tried to avoid the leaves.

Then for the leaves I used a tiny blending brush and gold Metallic ink.

I took my time to stencil everything in, but it did not have to be perfect.

I quickly dried the ink with a heat gun, then layered the stencil back on the front of the tag.

Using Simon White ink, I carefully stenciled in the center of each poinsettia.

I place the tag aside to dry and got read to stamp.

I got out my favorite Nesting Circles Die and die cut out a 3-inch circle out of white cardstock.

I stamped on my image from the Holiday Sketchbook Stamp Set.

I used markers to add some colored to the image.

Next, I used my glue pen and add glue to the snowy areas of the image,

and sprinkled Rock Candy Glitter over the top.

I also placed that aside to dry.

To create a place for my sentiment I used the Small Folding Banners and Black cardstock.

I stamped on my sentiment and heat set with white embossing powder.

To add some the glam to the tag, I used Tarnish Brass Paint and add some paint around the tag.

Once the paint was dry, I added my circle image to the front of the card with foam tape.

I also add the banner to the front with foam tape.

I added a bit of ribbon to the top of my tag from my stash.

This completes my take on STENCIL IT
