But… If you have some of their product in your stash

We would LOVE to see them used.

Here is my take on this challenge.

For this card I used the following product

You Shine Clear Stamp Set

Let us get started on this card.

I am obsessed with the lemons in the You Shine Stamp Set.

I thought that some random stamping of the lemons would make for a fun summer card.

I stared with white card stock die cutdown in a standard card front.

I stamped the sentiment first and then stamped the lemons above.

I chose three yellow markers and stared coloring in my lemons.

I finished my coloring my card front with some green for the leaves and a bit of white for the seeds.

I placed that panel aside and began to work on the background.

Using the slice of lemon and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide,

I randomly stamped onto green apple cardstock.

Once this panel was die cut down, I started the assembly of my card.

A card base was created with white card stock.

I glued down the green panel, and then the card front propped up with foam tape.

To finish off the card I add on some clear sequins and gems.

This completes my take on ANYTHING GOES

Inky Paw's Challenge 178 - Beach Theme

Hello Inky Paws Fans!

We are at the halfway point of this current challenge.

Using the challenge theme, I created this Tag!

For this challenge I used the following Newton’s Nook Design’s product.

Beach Barks Stamp Set

Frameworks Die Set

A ton of scraps, we all have them.

This tag starts with a precut white tag that I have lying around in my scraps

I cut ¾ inch strips of Navy cardstock and glued them on top of the tag.

Next, I stamped, colored and die cut my images.

The hardest part of this tag was the postage edge sentiment square.

I die cut this from the Frameworks Die Set and stamped on the sentiment.

I them lined up the die cut piece back into the die and re-ran the die cut thru the

machine making the square piece slightly smaller.

I attached my sentiment on the tag first, and them added my stamped image.

To finish this tag, I added on a natural fiber cord to the top.

This includes my take on this challenge.

For a Child - Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

THIS WEEK’S THEME AT THE

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

FOR A CHILD

Featuring products by

LAWN FAWN

You do not have to use the featured company to join in.

But… If you have some of their product in your stash

We would LOVE to see them used.

Here is my take on this challenge.

For this card I used the following product

CEREALSLY AWESOME STAMP SET

PEEKABOO BACKDROP

Let us get started on this card.

I stamped out four of the cereal bowls sand picked the brightest colors

from my markers to color them in.

Once everything was colored in, I die cut out three of the peekaboo backdrops frames.

I glued the three frames together and placed a weight on top to let the glue dry.

I thumbed thru my Lawn Fawn paper stash and decided on

a piece of Perfectly Plaid paper for a background.

To assemble the card, I glued my plaid paper to a sheet of 110 lbs. cardstock.

On top of this I glued on my die cut frame.

Once everything was dry, I cut around my frame to create my card front.

Next, I attached my cereal bowls in the frame, popping a couple of bowls up with foam tape.

For my sentiment panel, I used a pop out from the die cut.

I curved the sentiment on my stamping plate and stamped the sentiment on the panel.

Once the panel was glued in, I went around the frame with my favorite glitter pen.

I added my card front onto a card base created with Surf Blue Cardstock

I also add some white gem here and there.

This completes my take on FOR A CHILD

Inky Paw's Challenge 178 - Theme Challenge

Hello Inky Paws Fans!

We have a NEW challenge coming your way.

Using the challenge theme, I came up with this Tag!

For this challenge I used the following Newton’s Nook Design’s product.

Shark Bites

Corgi Beach

A ton of scraps, we all have them.

I decided one evening that it was time to make the pile smaller.

I die cut out a BUNCH of tag shapes, then I stared to glue the extra strips

of colored paper that I had to the tags.

The result was a very cool looking pile of tags.

In the completed pile this one tag stood out.

All the blue at the bottom reminded me of water.

This gave me an awesome idea for the challenge.

Using the water/wave stamp in the Shark Bites stamp set,

I stamped waves on the strips of paper with archive ink.

Next, I stamped and colored the shark and corgi that I wanted to use for the tag.

I colored the water around the shark as close to the paper as possible.

I love that the shark looks like it is coming out of the tag

I attached both image on the front of the tag.

For the corgi, used a bit of foam tape underneath.

I also stamped on a sentiment.

The result is one fun tag that was made from leftover scraps.

I hope this inspires you to try out this fun challenge.

and use up your scraps!

Make Your Own Backround - Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

THIS WEEK’S THEME AT THE

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

MAKE YOUR OWN BACKROUND

Featuring products by

PICKET FENCE STUDIOS

You do not have to use the featured company to join in.

But… If you have some of their product in your stash

We would LOVE to see them used.

Here is my take on this challenge.

For this tag I used the following product

SLIMLINE OCEAN STENCIL

NAVY WINGTIPS PAPERGLITZ

Let us get started on this tag.

To create the background for the tag, took the ocean stencil

and taped the stencil down onto white cardstock.

I smeared embossing ink pad across the stencil and then lifted the stencil.

Then I applied clear embossing powder across the inked area and heat set.

I flipped the stencil 360 and repeated the process for lower half of the paper.

I die cut the stenciled paper out with a tag die cut.

I grabbed my blue tape next and taped off an area where I though my frog should go.

Using Salty Ocean Distress ink, I ink blended the area with a slight amount of color.

Then, using my index finger I rubbed the paper Glitz into the Inked area.

I wiped off the excess, dried with a heat gun and repeated the process 3 more times.

The results created a shiny, blingy water area for my frog to sit on.

Next, I stamped and colored my images from the Toadally Unfrogettable Stamp Set.

I do not have dies for this set, so I fussy cut everything out and got everything placed on the tag.

I created a quick sentiment banner for the top if the tag

This completes my take on MAKE YOUR OWN BACKROUND
