It Is Time to Party! - Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

THIS WEEK’S THEME AT THE

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

It is Party Time!

Featuring stamps and dies by our very own

SIMON SAYS STAMP

You do not have to use the featured company to join in.

But… If you have some of their product in your stash

We would LOVE to see them used.

Here is my take on this challenge.

My Crafty Items of choice for this challenge is:

Kaleidoscope Embossing Folder

Celebration Time Die

Because of the holiday, this challenge will run for TWO weeks.

So excited to share all the fun elements on this card with you.

First thing was to create the balloons.

I started by die cutting the balloons out of #120 white card stock using the Celebration Time Die.

Then using a Tim Holtz Alphanumeric die, I ran the balloons back thru the die cutting

machine again, die cutting out the individual numbers on the balloons.

A final pass thru the die cutting machine using the balloon die again,

this time with the holographic/gold paper creates the backdrop for the balloons.

With all the pieces cut I assembled the balloons, together and laid them aside for the glue to dry.

Now to create a card to place these balloons on.

Using black cardstock, I created a slimline card base   3¾ x 6 ½

This will give me just enough room for the balloons on the front of the card.

For the card front I decided on the Kaleidoscope Embossing Folder and black card stock.

The embossing folder is only six inches long, so the sides of my card will have a ¼ inch plain boarder.

I am ok with this, making my card smaller meant that the balloons would not fit the way I wanted.

Assembling this card was easy, card front on to card base.

Then I arranged the balloons on the front slightly overlapping.

A bit of twine attached to the back of balloon to function as string

Layer of foam tape gave the balloons a different height.

To finish this card, I got my sparkle pen and coated the front of the balloons.

I also added a jewel on each of the balloons for some more shimmer.

This completes my take on It’s Party Time!

Bling it On - Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

THIS WEEK’S THEME AT THE

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

BLING IT ON

Featuring stamps and dies by

STAMPING BELLA

You do not have to use the featured company to join in.

But… If you have some of their product in your stash

We would LOVE to see them used.

Here is my take on this challenge.

My stamp and set of choice for this challenge is:

Bundle Girl with Winter Branch Cling Stamp

So excited to share all the fun elements on this card with you.

The idea was to have layers of bling on the card, so that the card front

is hits the light it is bursting with BLING.

I started this stamping some white card stock with the Fractured Stamp and Versamark ink.

Holographic embossing power was pored over the ink and then heat set.

I then used the A2 Scalloped Rectangles Die and die cut out my card front.

Next, I stamped out my chosen stamp and colored in the image.

A couple of minutes of careful fussy-cutting and the image was ready for the front of the card.

A sentiment banner was created using a sentiment from the Cozy Wishes Stamp Set,

that is embossed on a Lawn Fawn banner that was die cut out of Navy card stock.

Now that all the elements are ready, it was time to assemble the card onto a card base.

I used foam tape to pop up my image and the banner.

To add the bling to the card I used an old school method.

Twilight Stickles that are thinned down with a spritz of water.

Using a brush, I carefully painted the mixture on the scarf and poof on the beanie.

I added tiny gems from my stash and a swish of glitter pen to the holly branch.

A few holographic gems complete the card.

This completes my take on BLING IT ON

Inky Paw's Challenge 163- Create A Tag

Hello Inky Paws Fans!

We are at the halfway point of this current challenge.

Check out this challenge!

For this challenge I used the following Newton’s Nook Design’s product.

Mistle Toad

Fleece Navidad

Bookmark Die

Meowy Christmas 6x6 Paper Pad

Here is my take on the challenge.

These tags could not be any easier to make!

To start thi project, I picked out two pieces of paper from the Meowy Christmas Paper Pad.

Then I decided on matching card stock for the banners that would go on top pf the paper.

Once I was happy with the color combo. I die cut out all the pieces.

With the backgrounds decided, I turned my attention to the stamps I decided for the tags.

Stamping out my images and coloring them in and then die-cutting them out.

I also stamped and embossed my sentiments on the banner piece.

Next, I assembled all the parts of the tag popping my stamped images up with a bit of foam.

Final touches included a few gems and Stickles to add a bit of bling

That completes my take on this challenge.

Now it is your turn!

Cold as Ice - Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

THIS WEEK’S THEME AT THE

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

COLD AS ICE

Featuring stamps and dies by

Stampendous

celebrating a 40th Anniversary

You do not have to use the featured company to join in.

But… If you have some of their product in your stash

We would LOVE to see them used.

Here is my take on this challenge.

My stamp and set of choice for this challenge is:

TRUCK GNOMES CLING STAMP

So excited to share all the fun elements on this card with you.

I love a shaped card.

The base of this card is created using the Square Frames Die by Newton’s Nook Designs.

On top of that is the card front created using the Perfectly Plaid Paper Pad by Lawn Fawn.

A scalloped die in the Square Frames Die Set is where my image was stamped.

These gnomes are SO CUTE and SO MUCH FUN to color.

I used my favorite wintery colors and took my time since I straight stamped this on the card front.

With everything colored it was time to assemble all the die-cut pieces.

Once this was done, I placed the card aside for the glue to set up.

Now let’s add the ice.

Quicky Glue and Rock Candy Glitter carefully placed in the snowy parts.

A final touch of Gilded Gold Stickles to add the extra bling.

This completes my take on COLD AS ICE

Featuring Stampendous

Inky Paw's Challenge 163 - Create A Tag

HAPPY MONDAY!

Who is ready for a NEW Inky Paws Challenge?

Check out this challenge!

For this challenge I used the following Newton’s Nook Design’s product.

Newton’s Stocking

Circle Frames Dies

Here is my take on the challenge.

The large size of the stamp and die are perfect for tags!

Bonus!  These tags are quick and easy to make.

The first thing I did was to stamp and color my tags.

I also stamped and colored the present included in the stamp set

I love wintery colors for the holidays, pink, blue and mint are among my favorites.

I die cut out my tags and die cut out an extra piece of cardstock to create a stiffer tag.

Since I did not want to put a hole in the top of Newton, I used glitter cardstock and

the two-inch circle die from the Circle Frames Die set to create a hanger for the top of the tag.

I finished my tags by assembling my die-cut pieces.

Next, I die cut out the presents that I colored earlier and added those to the tags.

To add some bling, I squeezed on some matching Stickles.

I finished off these tags by punched a hole in the top and tied on some twine.

That completes my take on this challenge.

Now it is your turn!

Show us your take on tags.
