Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

Party!

Featuring products by

SIMON SAYS STAMP

You do not have to use the featured company to join in.

But… If you have some of their product in your stash

We would LOVE to see them used.

Here is my take on this challenge.

For this card I used the following product

CHRISTMAS CHEER STAMP SET

To start my card, I started with card base made with Fog Cardstock.

I grabbed a piece of 110 white cardstock.

I used the largest snowflake from the stamp set and Fog ink.

I stamped the snowflake in a random pattern.

I used one of the medium snowflake and Pumice Stone Distress Oxide.

I stamped those snowflakes in a random pattern around the larger snowflake.

For my last snowflake I chose one of the smaller ones and Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide.

I used this snowflake to fill in between any empty space.

Once the inked snowflakes were dry, I die cut them out

with rectangle die to make my card front.

Next, I stamped the sign that is included in the stamp set on a separate paper.

I colored in the sign with primary color and then stamped the sentiments on the sign.

I do not have the dies for this set, so I just fuzzy cut this image out.

I popped the sign onto my card front with foam tape.

To finish my card, I added some clear sequins.

This completes my take on the challenge.

This also completes my last card for the Wednesday Challenge.

It has been an awesome two years!

Ice Cold - Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

THIS WEEK’S THEME AT THE

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

ICE COLD

Featuring products by

AVERY ELLE

You do not have to use the featured company to join in.

But… If you have some of their product in your stash

We would LOVE to see them used.

Here is my take on this challenge.

For this card I used the following product

DINO-MITE CHRISTMAS

I started the card for this challenge by stamping and coloring the images I wanted to use.

Since I love shaped cards, Ovals were a must for this card.

I made the card base make of Sea Glass cardstock and 3 ½ inch Oval Die.

I also die cut out a 3-inch oval out of white cardstock for the front.

On the card front I stamped the mountains in the background.

I colored in the sky and mountains in with my alcohol markers.

I also used Frosted Lace Stickles to the tops of my mountains to add a bit of bling.

After the stickles had dried, I fussy cut out my images.

Everything was added to my card front with foam tape.

A sentiment is stamped on and then I glued the two layers of the card together.

This completes my take on the challenge.

Inky Paw's Challenge 188 - Color Challenge

Hello Inky Paws Fans!

We are at the halfway point of this current challenge.

Here is my take on the challenge.

For this challenge I used the following Newton’s Nook Design’s product.

Christmas Cactus

Oval Frames Die Set

I had this idea for this card when washing dishes one night.

This card is fun yet simple.

I created a card base using the kraft color in the challenge colors.

Using the Oval Frames Die Set, I die cut out the white cardstock for the first layer.

I used the Scalloped oval and Tim Holtz Idea-ology Deco Sheets.

The shine is off the charts gorgeous.

For the Christmas Cactus, YES, I know they are not blue.

But, thought this would be a fun take on the challenge, so why not.

To finish this card, I glued all may layer to the front of the card.

I also stamped on my sentiment and a few silver gems.

This completes my take on this challenge.

I Hope this gives you a bit of inspiration for your next project.

Add Some Sparkle - Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

THIS WEEK’S THEME AT THE

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

ADD SOME SPARKLE

Featuring products by

WOW Embossing

You do not have to use the featured company to join in.

But… If you have some of their product in your stash

We would LOVE to see them used.

Here is my take on this challenge.

For this card I used the following product

Palm and Punch Embossing Powder

To start my take on the challenge, I created a card base with Fog cardstock.

I used my favorite rectangle nesting die and cut out a square of white card stock.

I used the Square shape in the Big Bold Shaped stamp set to stamp clear

embossing ink and then I added the powder on top.

I heat set and repeat the process until I filled up the card front.

Next, I used Silver Cardstock and die cut out the Eliza Snowflake.

I also die cut two other snowflakes out of white cardstock.

I glued all the layers of the snowflakes together and set it aside to dry.

I also used my circle nesting dies and die cut out a place for my sentiment.

I used a sentiment from Snowflake Season Stamp Set to add a sentiment

and assembled all the pieces of the snowflake together.

I also used a bit of Snowfall Grit Paste and added a bit of snowy-ness to my sentiment.

I got my snowflake attached to my card and finished my card with clear gems.

This completes my take on the challenge.

Inky Paw's Challenge 188 - Color Challenge

Hello Inky Paws Fans!

We have a NEW challenge coming your way.

Here is my take on the challenge.

For this challenge I used the following Newton’s Nook Design’s product.

Santa Paw’s Newton

A Cats Life 6x6 Paper Pad

 Frames Square Die

Snow Globe Shaker Die

Hello everyone!

I stared this card by making a card base using the Frames Square Die and Kraft cardstock.

For the teal part of the challenge colors, I went looking thru my stacks of Newtons Nook paper

and came across the paws and heart paper from A Cats Life 6x6 Paper Pad.

I die cut the paper down and placed it on the front of my card.

Next, I stamped, die cut and colored the images from Santa Paw’s Newton.

I knew that I wanted to make silver snowflakes for the front of the card.

I found the perfect snowflakes in the Snow Globe Shaker Die.

I used the snow globe as a place for my sentiment.

With all the components complete, I stared layering

everything on the front of the card.

I used a clear sparkle pen to add a bit of shimmer to the elements on the card.

To finish this card, I added on my silver snowflakes

and for a little extra bling I added some gems.

This completes my take on this challenge.

I Hope this gives you a bit of inspiration for your next project.
