Happy Friday to everyone! Have you played along with Simon Say Stamp Monday Challenge yet? The challenge is WISH. Considering the brutal week that I had, I chose to "WISH" for something tropical. Lots of lush green and bright flowers to ease the week. Using Look For The Miracles Stamp Set, I chose to emboss the leaves. Then I ink blended in the background. I really wanted the colors to pop and have that lush green look. For the flowers, I distress stained them in a gradient color with of course, glossy accent. The stamp set has SO many cool stamp accents to use in the background. I Had a awesome time with this stamp set and the whole kit of the month is so incredible. That's all for now. Have an amazing Memorial weekend. DIANE

Sorry - Lawn Fawn Challenge #130
Hello to everyone!
Today we are working on a little something for the Lawn Fawn Challenge #130 SPARK IT UP
For my card I chose the flowers from the Gleeful Gardens Stamp Set. I stared by inking up the card base with a water drop background. Then, I stamped the flowers and painted them in with distress stain. After the stain dried, I fussy cut the flowers out, and added Stickles to make the flowers BLING. I then stamped my sentiment on the card base and attached the flowers on the front of the card. Simple and colorful.
Thanks for stopping by, and don't forget to pop on over to the Lawn Fawn Challenge Page.

Emboss it- Simon Says Stamp Monday Challange
HELLO EVERYONE
For this card , I am working on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. The challenge is to EMBOSS IT. I wanted to stretch my creative muscle a bit, so I decided to try a mixed media approach. Since I do not normally work in a mixed media arena, this was going to be a HUGE stretch for me. I noticed when doing mixed media style, you kind of have to be free of mind. I would assume that there are no rules. I had to convince myself not to think about the card so much and just "let it flow". A couple of different stamp sets and embossing powder to create the background, An embossing folder and of course one of those crazy birds. I am not sure if the card is good or bad , but I do have a new fond appreciation for mixed media artist. It is not easy to "let it flow". My hat is off to you! DIANE

Snail-a bration - Lawnscaping challenge #129
Happy May to everyone!
Today I have a card for the LAWNSCAPING CHALLENGE! This is challenge #129 and its all about the critters. For my card, chose snails. There is something about these small and mighty critters I find so cute. MY snails are having a birthday party, using stamps from the Gleeful Gardens and Bake me a Cake sets. The sentiment is from Big Birthday Wishes from Simon Says Stamp.
I hope you enjoyed my card.
Stay Crafty.

FRIEND
Hello to everyone!
Here is my card for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. I love this starfish stamp from Stampendous. It reminds me of warm summer days and fun at the beach. The card itself is a simple one layer stamp and color card. The hint of color on the starfish was a pure accident. When I started to paint the starfish, I got interrupted ( a hungry husband never waits) When I came back to the card, I liked the unfinished look to the paint.
To me, it makes the colors on the card look light and fun.
A cute face on the starfish (Simon Says Stamp) and a bit of Stickles and Glossy Accents.
And that's my card.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
