Hello Everybody!
We are on day two of our preview.
Check out these fun dies.
I started this tag by choosing paper from Christmas Party
Paper Pad
The bows and wreaths on this paper caught my
attention!
I cut the paper out using the largest of the Essential Tags Die Set.
I also cut out a second piece of card stock to
glue on the back to give my tag some stiffness.
Once these two pieces were glued together, I
used a Gray alcohol marker
and added some dimension around the edges.
You are going to love this next part, and it is
a game changer with word dies.
To create my snowy lead letters I first started
with some red card stock.
I smeared Versamark ink across the card stock
added clear embossing powder and heat set.
Next is smeared Versamark ink on top of that
added white embossing powder and heat set.
I like to put my paper in the freezer for a minute to make sure the
embossing powder is absolutely dry and hard.
Here is where the magic happens, I take my dye
and place it on the
the
halfway point between the white and clear embossing powder.
Once the dye is taped down, I run it through my
die cutting machine.
It is important to make sure that the letters
cut all the way through.
I pull my letters out of the dye and admire the
results!
To finish my tag I used a darker green card
stock behind my snowy letters.
I finished off my tag with a matching dark green bow.
For my next card I started with a card base
made from the Circle Frames Die Set.
I chose the Super cute green and pink holly paper from Christmas Party Paper Pad
On top of this I have matching green card stock
that has been altered with Distressed Oxide Spray.
the merry is from Merriest Christmas Die Set
I created the merry letters using the same
technique as I used above.
For these letters I use clear embossing powder
and Ranger Holographic Powder.
Once the card was assembled, I added a present
from the Gift Builder Die Set,
To finish this card a couple of cheerful stars.
I hope you enjoyed my
cards and tags!
