Enjoy Every Moment - a shaped card featuring Cherry Blossoms

HELLO EVERYBODY!

I am happy to be here to share this fun shaped card with you.

 

This card features

Cherry Blossom

Circle Frames Die

Basic Frames Die

I started this card by creating the background for the card.

I use the Cherry Blossom stamp with Raspberry colored card stock.

I stamped the image onto the paper using Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide.

I stamped in a very random pattern trying to stamp the image as close as possible.

Then, I used the smaller stamp in the stamp set to fill in any missing areas.

As I waited for this background to dry, I stamped out the

cherry blossoms onto white cardstock and colored them in.

I added a lot of detail on the cherry blossoms using a gel and a glitter pen.

Going back to the background, I use Circle Frames Die to create a shaped card.

After die-cutting out the colored cherry blossoms, I added them to the front of the card with foam tape.

To create the sentiment I use the rounded rectangle from the Basic Frames Die

After adding the sentiment to the front of the card I used Disco Ball

Stickles around the edge to create some sparkle.

A final addition is a couple of raspberry gems to the front of the card.

Newton's Nook Designs April Release - Cherry Blossoms

 

Hello Everybody!

We are on the third day of our new release!

Continuing with the flower theme we have the

Cherry Blossoms Stamp Set

Using this stamp set I created this shaped card.

 

 

When I saw this stamp set, I knew it had to be a shaped card.

I started this card by creating a circle card base with pink card stock

and a basic circle shape die from my stash.

For the card front I decided on the striped, pink card stock 

from the Pastel Basics 6 x 6 Paper Pad.

This is die cut out using the stitch circle from the Circle Frames Die Set.

I assembled the piece of this card and placed it aside with a weight on top to dry.

Next, I stamped out the cherry blossoms stamp set and

 colored my stamped blossoms using traditional cherry blossom colors.

I also die cut a place for my sentiment using a stitch square from the Basic Frames Die Set.

I stamped on my sentiment to that stitch square and glued it into the center of my card.

Then I added my cherry blossoms around the sentiment until I liked what I saw.

To complete this card, I added on a bit of pink pearls embellishment.

 This concludes my take on these beautiful cherry blossoms themed products!
