Where did this year go? I cannot believe that October is almost here. This means it is time for MY favorite time of the year... HALLOWEEN!!I LOVE this time of the year, and not because it is my birthday month, but because it just FUN. The weather is cooler and everything is creepy and candy coated.
In keeping with the spirt, we created a card for Inky Paws Challenge #36 Halloween Theme.
This card started out by creating a stencil of the negative part of the Branch Tree Die from Tim Holtz. Clear embossing inside of the stencil using the Spooky Street stamp set, gave the tree eyes and a graveyard trunk.
Then layers of distress ink over the embossing to make the eyes and graveyard look like it was coming out of the tree in a totally creepy way.
A water brush background gives the tree a haunting glow.
