Confetti Birthday Card

Hello Newton Fans!

Today we have a fun and sparkly birthday card to share with you.

It all starts with this card.

This card was created for another project but never used.

I created this card using the A2 Card Layout2.

The inset panels are created with the Confetti Hot Foil Plate.

Each piece was individually cut out using the layout die and pieced into the panels.

A foil background makes this card super festive; I love how the light hits this card!

To stick with the birthday theme I use the Cat Birthday Party Stamp Set.

I colored my kitty cat images matching the foil background.

The lower left-hand corner I reserved for my sentiment.

I use the stitched banner from the Frames And Flags Die Set.

After I die cutting out this banner, I stamped on my sentiment.

The banner is then shortened down to fit the corner.

I finished this card with matching gems to make

the card even more sparkly!

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Stay craft everyone!

Hug in a Mug Card

Hello Newton Fans!

On the blog today with a crafty coffee theme card!

I started this card off by stamping the
Coffee Delights Stamp Set on to white cardstock.

I stamped 4 images vertically and then heat set with white embossing powder.

Next, I chose my Distress Ink colors that I wanted to have on the front of my card.

Carved Pumpkin, Peacock Feathers, and Prize Ribbon.

For each one of the distress colors I smushed the pad

onto my craft mat and added a spritz of water.

Using a paint brush, I brushed over the embossed area revealing the image.

I repeated the process with each color to create my card front.

This card front must dry completely before going on to the next step.

While the card front was drying, I used the 3-inch stitched heart from the

Heart Frames Die Set and die cut out this heat using white card stock.

Using the A Hug in a Mug Die Set I die cut my background in white card stock

and my lettering in pumpkin orange cardstock.

I adhered both pieces together and put them aside so the glue could set up.

With my card front now dry, I die-cut this out using the A7 Frames and Banners Die.

I also created a card base with the same die.

Assembling this card is easy.

With the A7 card front and base together, I attached the stitched heart

to the front of my card over the image.

Next, I centered my word die over the heart.

I attached this die to the heart foam tape.

For a last touch I used, matching orange Stickles on

top of the letters to add some sparkle.

I hope you try this technique in your card making!

Stay craft everyone!
