Hello Newton Fans!
On the blog
today with a crafty coffee theme card!
I
stamped 4 images vertically and then heat set with white embossing powder.
Next,
I chose my Distress Ink colors that I wanted to have on the front of my card.
Carved
Pumpkin, Peacock Feathers, and Prize Ribbon.
For
each one of the distress colors I smushed the pad
onto my craft mat and added a spritz of water.
Using
a paint brush, I brushed over the embossed area revealing the image.
I repeated
the process with each color to create my card front.
This card
front must dry completely before going on to the next step.
While
the card front was drying, I used the 3-inch stitched heart from the
Heart
Frames Die Set and die cut out this heat using white card
stock.
Using
the A Hug in a Mug
Die Set I die cut my background in white card stock
and
my lettering in pumpkin orange cardstock.
I
adhered both pieces together and put them aside so the glue could set up.
With my card front now dry, I die-cut
this out using the A7 Frames and Banners Die.
I also created a card base with the same die.
Assembling
this card is easy.
With
the A7 card front and base together, I attached the stitched heart
to the front of my card over the image.
Next,
I centered my word die over the heart.
I
attached this die to the heart foam tape.
top
of the letters to add some sparkle.
I hope
you try this technique in your card making!
Thanks so much for
stopping by.
Stay craft everyone!
DIANE
