Newton's Nook Design Feature - Spring Bunnies

Day One Of Our Spring Feature.

Today we are taking a look at the

NEW Springtime Bunnies and Happy Easter Paper Pack.

For this incredibly cute stamp set I created this card.

Started this card off by using the Basketweave Stencil In a unique way.

I treated this stencil like an embossing folder.

This is a terrific way to stretch your product.

To do this you need a die-cutting machine that is wide enough to manage a 6x6 stencil.

1st choose your paper, add a light spritz of water to that paper.

You want to have the appropriate sandwich for your die cutting machine.

I use my Cuttlebug for embossing and a rubber press plate.

Once I run my sandwich through my machine my stencil has now embossed the paper.

Please make sure that you let the paper dry before die-cutting.

To make my shaped card, I use the Frames and Flags Die Set.

Using a basic circle die from my stash to die cut a window that is

going to feature paper from Happy Easter Paper Pack.

I created a banner using one of the flags from the Frames and Flags Die Set for my sentiment.

Once my banner was placed on the front of my card, I attached

the bunnies and eggs from Springtime Bunnies

These bunnies are SO CUTE!!

Best of all, the new product is available NOW!!

Have an awesome day!

Stay crafty my friends

Love Cafe

Hello Newton Fans!

It Is Coffee Time!

I started by using the coffee cups in the Love Café Stamp Set to create a background.

This is an uncomplicated process of stamping onto white card stock

over and over creating a pattern paper look.

To add some interest I took black acrylic paint and added some splats to this page.

When the paint and ink was dry, I cut this background

from the scalloped rectangle that is part of the Frameworks Die Set.

I also created a card base using the same die turning this card into a shaped card.

Stamping the sentiment onto the bottom of the card front is first.

Then I stamped and colored my images from the Love Café Stamp Set

Once these are die-cut, I added the stamped image to the front of the card with foam tape.

I also stamped out the coffee beans and added those on because they are so cute!

Hope you enjoyed my take on the fun stamp set!

TONS of Fun

Hello Newton Fans!

Starting off the SEASON OF LOVE!

For this card, I started out with a base from my stash of A2 Cardlayout 2 Die.

I purchase these plastic Containers from Michaels.

The large photo size box is perfect for holding these die sizes.

When the mood hits, I pull out a dye and just make some card fronts.

I use the card front for inspiration when I am in a crafty rut.

For this particular card font I used pink, brown and light pink paper leftover from some project.

Since the card front is already done, I attached it to a card base of carnation cardstock.

My stamp set of choice is Love Quarry.

I am a huge fan of orange and pink together, perfect for my construction equipment colors.

Once everything was colored and die cut out using the coordinating dies,

my pieces are ready to be added to the front of the card.

I decided to have some fun with the placement by

putting my bulldozer on top and my dump truck on the bottom.

Right corner piece for my sentiment.

Added some accents colors by using blue for the caution cones.

I also added plenty of extra hearts To have my truck overflowing.

Hope you enjoyed my take on the fun stamp set!

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Stay crafty everyone!
