Happy Spring

Hello Newton Fans!

Spring is in the air.

To celebrate the start of spring I produced this playful fun bunny card.

I started this card by using the NEW Card Layout 6 Die.

This die will create a frame for the card front.

Next, I die cut out the teal polka dots from the Happy Easter Paper Pad.

Inserting the polka dot card stock into the frame, and this became my card front background.

After attaching the card front to a card base, I decided on my elements for the front.

For these elements I chose bunnies from Springtime Bunnies Stamp Set.

Lilies from Easter Postage Sampler

After stamping, coloring, and cutting out my image I was ready to place everything on my card.

I used the scallop circle from the Circle Frames Die Set as my backer.

I started assembling this card by putting the circle in the center.

I created a banner with leftover paper from another spring card I recently created.

The banner comes from the Banner Trio Die Set,

The sentiment is from Springtime Bunnies Stamp Set

The bunnies went on top of the banner with foam tape.

The lilies went behind and next to the bunnies.

Once all of the elements are secure, my card is done.

I just love how this card turned out.

The colors are perfect for Spring!

Putting the card front together was made easy using the Card Layout 6 Die.

Hope you enjoyed my take on Spring cardmaking.

Stay Crafty Everyone!

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Newton's Nook Design Feature - Spring Bunnies

Day One Of Our Spring Feature.

Today we are taking a look at the

NEW Springtime Bunnies and Happy Easter Paper Pack.

For this incredibly cute stamp set I created this card.

Started this card off by using the Basketweave Stencil In a unique way.

I treated this stencil like an embossing folder.

This is a terrific way to stretch your product.

To do this you need a die-cutting machine that is wide enough to manage a 6x6 stencil.

1st choose your paper, add a light spritz of water to that paper.

You want to have the appropriate sandwich for your die cutting machine.

I use my Cuttlebug for embossing and a rubber press plate.

Once I run my sandwich through my machine my stencil has now embossed the paper.

Please make sure that you let the paper dry before die-cutting.

To make my shaped card, I use the Frames and Flags Die Set.

Using a basic circle die from my stash to die cut a window that is

going to feature paper from Happy Easter Paper Pack.

I created a banner using one of the flags from the Frames and Flags Die Set for my sentiment.

Once my banner was placed on the front of my card, I attached

the bunnies and eggs from Springtime Bunnies

These bunnies are SO CUTE!!

Best of all, the new product is available NOW!!

Have an awesome day!

Stay crafty my friends
