Party On! Stamp Set

For our final day we are highlighting!

Using this fun stamp set I created this card!

I stared this card using the Retro Vibes Stencil Set

This is a two-part stencil.

For the first part, I Used Black Soot Distress Oxide on top of teal colored card stock.

Once that was completely dried, I used the top part of the stencil carefully lined

the stencil up and taped the stencil down on all sides.

Using a spatula, I carefully smeared Venus Stickles over the top of the stenciled part.

I pulled the stencil up and had to let this dry for 24 hours for the glitter glue to set up.

To create the elements for the card, I stamped the sentiment

from Party On! Stamp Set onto yellow cardstock.

Using some of the elements from the stamp set, I created a frame around the sentiment.

I used a paper trimmer to cut this element out.

I also used other stamps in the stamp set to create the extras element for the card.

To create the card base for the card I used the Frameworks Die Set.

To add interest I used paper from Retro Vibes Stencil Set

To assemble my card, I cut my flashy card front down to fit inside my card base.

Once the card front was glued on, I added on my elements one by one with foam tape.

To finish this card I added matching Stickles to the elements.

This and all of the other fun NEW products

Newton’s Nook Designs Retro Party

Day One Of Our March Release

As a child of the 80’s I LOVE this release!!!

Using the products in this release I created the following card.

Let us start off with the NEW Card Layout 7 Die

These card layout dies are perfect for a last-minute card make!

For this card I used the New Retro Paper Pad.

Once I chose my paper from the paper pad, I ran each piece thru my die cutting machine.

Then, I used a piece of black cardstock and ran that thru my machine to make the frame.

Next, I created a card base for my card front and glued everything into place.

To complete this card, I used sentiments from the Party On! Stamp Set

My sentiments are stamped on to the small banner from the Frames and Flags Die Set.

I stamped my sentiment first and then trimmed the edges in

opposite directions to give the sentiment that 80’s flair.

To add bling to the card I used aluminum card stock die cut out with the small circle

from the Circle Frames Die Set that I accented with large matching gems.
