Newton's Nook Designs 12 Year Celebration - Day 4

 This is Day four of our NEW release!

Birthday Stamp lovers, this is for you! 

Using the NEW Birthday Postage Sampler Stamp Set I created this fun card!

At first, I was not sure how to use the stamp set.

All the images in the set are so super cute!

I am absolutely obsessed with the candles in this set.

After thinking about which die to use, I decided that the

Postage Stamp Layout Die is the perfect way to display all these cute stamps.

White card stock is my choice for my border.

Also I decided to keep all the die cut pieces intact.

Gluing everything to a separate piece of white card stock is necessary,

this will make popping in all the center pieces easier.

I inlaid coordinating paper from BirthdayTime Paper

I use the matching stamp from Birthday Postage Sampler Stamp Set

for the rest of my squares.

Once I was done putting my card front together

I glued this front to a matching teal card base.

I finished this card with plenty of Sparkle using matching Stickles.

***Bonus***

I also made this tag using the confetti stamp from Birthday Postage Sampler Stamp Set

I stamped the stamp everywhere onto white cardstock.

Heat set with white embossing powder.

Once dry, I used spray ink to uncover the design.

I cut the smaller stitched circle from the Circle Frames Die Set.

This is the perfect background to hold my colorful candles.

I created a simple handmade banner using the word from the Birthday Postage Sampler Stamp Set

Newton's Nook Designs November Release - Day 1

 

Welcome to day ONE of our November Release

So excited to show you the new goodies!

Today we are using

 Coffee Shop Paper Pad

Coffee Delights Stamp Set + Coordinating Die Set

Using these fun new products created this card. 

I started off by die-cutting the Postage Stamp Layout Die with white card stock.

I glued the frame that I die cut out to a rectangular piece of white card stock.

This is now the start of my card front.

I love the Coffee Shop Paper Pad

It was ridiculously hard to choose six different sheets for this card

because all the pages are so darn cute!

Using one corner of the Postage Stamp Layout Die I die cut my insert pieces 1 by 1.

Once all my insert pieces are glued down my card front is now complete.

Next, I attached this front a card base made with matching teal card stock.

I created a place for my sentiment using the Circle Frames Die Set.

The sentiment comes from the NEW Coffee Delights Stamp Set

A matching blue enamel heart finishes off this card.

All these new products will be available. Friday, November 15

Newton's Nook Designs Holiday Release -Day 2

Hello Everybody!

It is day TWO of our NEW Release!

And we have TWO NEW ITEMS

Holiday Postage Sampler Stamp Set + Coordinating Die Set,

 Postage Stamp Layout Die Set

Using this stamp set I created this card.

 

I started this card by first stamping out all the images from

Holiday Postage Sampler Stamp Set 

 On one side I colored the images with traditional holiday colors.

On the other side I colored the images with nontraditional colors.

As you can see, I had a blast with all my colors!

When everything was colored, I decided on which images

 I would like to use with the new

Postage Stamp Layout Die Set.

Of course, I had to do things a bit differently.

I was obsessed with the purple that I used in coloring.

I decided to highlight the stamps by using just

black and white with the Postage Stamp Layout Die Set.

After die cutting out the… the Postage Stamp Layout Die Set

and seeing how cute this card front was I decided to go through

 my newton’s die and find a die that would work well as a card base.

The Frameworks Die Set fit the bill perfectly.

The largest postage edge rectangle die in this set makes a

 amazing card base and lined up with the Postage Stamp Layout Die Set.

Once the card base was created with black card stock,

 All I had to do was line up my postage frame die on the front of the card.

Next, I popped in my sentiment squares using sentiments from Holiday Postage Sampler Stamp.

Then I added my images to the front of the card with foam tape on the back.

Black and white for Christmas, heck yes!

I love the way this card came out; it is unique and elegant!
