Feeling much better and back in the craft room. Today I have a card for the Simon Says Monday Challenge....
MAKE A RAINBOW
The background was SO much fun to create. I grabbed my Dylusion spray ink and just went crazy!
I decided the background need some texture, so I took a chance and ran the background thru a Tim Holtz embossing folder. The dog stamp and sentiment are also Tim Holtz. The arrow are something new I wanted to try. I did not want to block the background color so I upcycled the old style plastic packaging from Tim Holtz embossing folders that I die-cut into an arrow and lined with Sharpie.
I added some Nuvo drops and smudges to break things up.
I am very happy how this turned out, especially the clear arrows. This opens some new possibilities to create some interesting cards and indulge in some new ideas.
That's all for now and thanks for stopping by
DIANE
