What's MOO! IPC 92

Welcome to a NEW Inky Paws Challenge.

This one will stretch those crafty muscles.

I been going thru a creative rut right now.

When this happens, I usually thumb thru my stamp sets for inspiration.

I came upon the Farmyard Friends StampSet and this set inspired this project.

I chose to create a tag using some fun orange printed paper from my stash.

 The background element using the Tumbling Heart Stencil.

This is embossed on Kraft card stock.

The forward element features the cow from the

Farmyard Friends Stamp Set and my sentiment.

For a pop of color, and the final element, I added grass using the

Land Boarders Die Set.

 Simple yarn bow finishes this tag.

Feline Good IPC 91

We are at the halfway point of the current Inky Paws Challenge!

Check out these challenge colors.

Lots of fun, right!

Using the challenge colors, I came up with this card as my inspiration.

The start of this card is the background.

Using the Tumbling Hearts Stencil,

 I applied Distress Ink in gradient colors.

At the top Hickory Smoke, followed by, Spun Sugar, and then Pickled Raspberry.

I tried to keep my colors kind of equal, 

but with a good blend where the colors meet.

Next, I stamped and colored my imaged from the

 Newton’s Sweetheart Stamp Set.

Newton and his girlfriend are enjoying a “Catppuccino” together.

    I colored this image using colors that would POP against the background.

Finally, I made a bold choice and stamped my sentiment right on

to my stenciled background in black ink.

BIG Wishes IPC 91

Happy Monday everybody!

Today starts a NEW Inky Paw’s Challenge.

My favorite kind of challenge…

IT’S A COLOR CHALLENGE!

Using the challenge colors, I came up with this gem!

This card starts with the background.

Using 3 of the challenge colors and the Argyle Stencil Set

I came up with this fun plaid background.

Wanting to create something unique, I chose to go with a shaped card this time.

The Holding Happiness Stamp Set is my featured image.

This stamp set is the perfect fun touch for my card.

Finally, it would not be a card without the use of the 

Frames and Flags Die Set.

The Stitched Banner from this die set was perfect 

complement for my sentiment.

Bold Heart IPC 90

Just one more week for the current Inky Paws Challenge.

Here is the current challenge.

I love non-traditional colors for a holiday.

I also love bold colors.

These two loves formed the idea for this card.

 Using the BloomingBotanicals Stamp Set I colored in the flowers

 using just three very bold Sharpie colors.

Once the coloring was done,

I die cut out my heart using the large heart from the DarlingHearts Die Set.

To create the base for my card I used the FloralLace Stencil.

along with my rubber embossing mat for my Cuttlebug.

This created the perfect background texture for my heart and sentiment.

Simple and cute!
