Pumpkins IPC 107
Welcome
to a new Inky Paws Challenge.
Check
out these amazing fall colors!
When
I saw these colors I automatically thought of pumpkins.
Using
the PICK A PUMPKIN DIE SET I created this.
I just
kept is simple.
I match
up some paper from my stash for the background.
I keep
the background interesting by using the
I just
love the scalloped edge on this die!
The
vine for my pumpkins comes from the FLOWER TRIO DIE SET.
The sentiment
come from the NEW FALL FRINGE STAMP SET.
The colors
for this challenge are so interesting,
I can’t
wait to see what everyone creates!
Thanks,
so much for stopping by.
Have
an amazing week

Halloween Stroll IPC 106
We are
at the halfway point of the current Inky Paws Challenge!
We have
a super fun challenge going on!
I love Halloween!
One of
my favorite memories is of trick or treating with the kids when they were
small.
Nothing
was more fun than sipping on a Pumpkin Spice Latte
on a
creepy night, following the kids as they go door to door.
That
was the idea behind this card.
I started
this card by creating a 1 ½ inch circle with masking paper.
That
will become the moon.
Using
the EVERGREENS STENCIL and Versamark ink, I stenciled my trees in black.
I
heat set the trees with clear embossing powder so that I could ink right over
my trees.
I wanted
a kind of hazy and eerie look to my trees.
I just started applying ink first using lighter colors and then darker
colors.
I put
a good amount of Distress Ink on the background blending as I went
and
smoking out the edges with Black Soot Distress Ink.
While
that background was drying, I stamped and colored my images from the
I
also created the bottom part of the card with gray cardstock and
During
the process of assembling my card I did re- cut my card so that
the trees were peeking out behind my stamped image.
I removed
my mask and it looked great!
I
stamped my sentiment on the bottom in white for a nice contrast.
I assembled
all the pieces of my card and add on the pumpkins for a fun touch.
I
hope this inspires you to create some Halloween Fun
Using
your favorite Newton’s Nook Stamps.

Candy Corn Shaker IPC 106
Happy
Monday!
We
have a new challenge for you
to get your Paw's Inky.
MY ALL TIME FAVORITE
CHALLENGE!
IT’S
HALLOWEEN THEME!
I used the CANDY CORN STAMP SET
and
created this fun shaker!
I
had so much fun crafting this shaker,
I forgot to take “how to” pictures.
OOOPS!
I
can tell you that I created the inside background
by just stamping my candy corn on to white cardstock
and
heat setting with clear embossing powder.
I
colored my candy corn in with sharpie
to get a nice bold color.!
I
die cut all my pieces and assembled my shaker.
For
those of you that have never created a shaker card,
Just
type “creating a shaker card”
in the YouTube search bar.
This
will bring up a ton of fun videos
for you to check out.
For
a finishing touch, I add the sentiment from the HALLOWEEN TRIO STAMP SET
Some
extra candy corn, and
a touch of ribbon finishes this project!
I
hope this inspires you to get spooky
and show us your Halloween crafty ideas.
Thanks
for stopping by!
Hugs

Halloween Fun IPC 105
We are
at the halfway point of the current Inky Paws Challenge!
Here
is a refresh of the challenge sketch.
For my
interpretation of the sketch,
I jumped right into Fall with a Halloween Card!
The featured Stamp Set for this card is
I kept
“Winston the Pumpkin” in traditional orange.
Since
it is a Halloween Card, I went bold with my
color
choices for the other two trick or treaters!
To finish
the card, I created base for my card with
the outer scalloped edge from the FRAMES AND FLAGS DIE SET.
and
the inner scalloped edge die from the FRAMEWORK DIE SET.
I
added some interest with black polka dotted paper
and
a black and white bow.
To add
to the Halloween fun, I added on some bats to the top of the card.
I
hope this inspires you to have some fun with the challenge sketch.
I cannot
wait to see what everyone creates!
Thanks
for stopping by.
Hugs
Diane
