It is day THREE of our New Release!
This stamp set is going to give you all
the FALL FEELS!
The plan
for this bookmark is to have a cozy fall feeling.
Nothing is
cozier than Plaid! So, a plaid background it is.
I grabbed my Plaid Stencil Set, a piece of burgundy cardstock,
and Dried Marigold Distressed
Oxide.
I applied
the oxide to the burgundy cardstock with the stencil and let it dry.
Once the
oxide was dry, I used the Bookmark Two Die Set and cut out my Plaid
background.
The next
thing I did was stamp out the larger stack of books from the Autumn Reads
Stamp Set.
Coloring
these in was so much fun! I kept the colors fall like but bold.
When
everything was dry on my image, I cut out my books using the coordinating die.
To make
this bookmark a little extra I stamped my sentiment on the bottom of the
bookmark
and then
embossed with gold embossing powder.
I also
added on my ribbon tag held together with a cute matching Brad.
I hope you
enjoyed my take on the Autumn Reads Stamp Set.
