Newton's Nook Designs Birthday Party - Day 2

Welcome Newton Nook Fans

It is day two of our sneak peeks.

Check out these fun NEW dies.

Now you can make your own cat or dog!

Here is my take on these three NEW dies!

For the cat die I used the Basic Frames Die Set to create the card front for this card.

My paper of choice is the Birthday Meows Paper Pad

After choosing my pieces of paper from this super cute paper pad,

I die cut out my pieces and layered everything together.

Now to make the cat.

I decided on a light gray colored cat for the front of the card.

I used the Cat Builder Die Set.

Following the instructions I die cut out all of my pieces for the cat.

Assembly on the cat was super easy and a lot of fun!

Before adhering the pieces, I took one of my C3 Gray Copic markers and

added shadows around the edging and darker lines on the ears and tail.

I used the Birthday Accessories Die Set to create a party hat and balloon

that will go on the front of the card with the cat.

Now that all my pieces are ready, I added the cat the card first and the added on the Accessories.

Using matching Sickles too I added some bling to the cat's accessories.

For the dog card I creates a card base and card front using

the Hexagon Frames Die Set along with the Birthday Time Paper Pad.

After cutting and assembling my pieces for this card,

I decided the I should have a brown dog on the front of my card.

I die cut all the pieces using the Dog Builder Die Set

I used the same technique by adding shadows using E43 Copic marker.

Then I followed the instructions to assemble my dog.

Once the dog was added to the front of my card.

I used the Birthday Accessories Die Set to die cut out a cupcake.

Once I assembled, I added details to the cupcake and attached the cupcake to the front of the card.

I had a ton of fun creating these cards. The cat and dog die are easy to put together.

You will have tons of fun creating your own little pets.

I hope you enjoyed my take on these new die sets and try them out for yourselves.
