Newton's Nook Designs November Release - Day 3

Hello Everybody!

It is the final Day of our New Release!

For this day we have TWO new dies!

 A Hug in a Mug

and

  Thanks a Latte

Using these two new dies I produced these fun shaped cards.

For the A Hug in a Mug card I started out with a card base made from the Circle Frames Die Set.

The card front uses the NEW Coffee Shop Paper Pad

For the A Hug in a Mug die I use 110 white card stock for the base die cut.

Orange glitter card stock for the words.

I die cut my word dies twice and then glue them together to give them a nice, lifted look.

For the Thanks a Latte Die I used a card base made from the Hexagon Frames Die.

The card front is created with the NEW Coffee Shop Paper Pad

To cut out the word die, I switched it up a bit and used

the coffee bean paper from Coffee Shop Paper Pad for the base die cut.

white glitter card stock for the words.

This and all the other fun latest items are available Friday, November 15

 Happy Shopping!

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Stay craft everyone!

Fall is in the Air

FALL IS IN THE AIR!

The leaves are coming off the trees and the rain is constant.

With this change in mind, I created this card.

For this project I used

Autumn Reads

Hexagon Frames Die

Coffee House Stories Paper Pad

I just love the idea of the color Gray with brown.

There is something about it that is super cozy!

In my stash I had a gray two-tone grey card that was 3 and a half by 5.

This card was left over from a project some time ago.

Since I wanted to make this card coffee themed, I chose a

scrap brown striped piece of paper from the Coffee House Stories Paper Pad

I cut this down to a 1 1/2-inch strip to fit on the front of the card.

Next, I stamped my sentiment on the bottom right.

The sentiment and leaves come from the Autumn Reads

the scallop hexagon from the Hexagon Frames Die  came next.

This shpe is die cut out of white card stock.

Next, I stamped out all the images I wanted to use from the Autumn Reads

I used the colors of the trees around me as inspiration on my leaves.

Coloring the books and the coffee to coordinate with those colors.

To assemble the card, I added that cute corner piece of leaves on the left-hand side.

Next, I added my book and leaves on top of the hexagon

finally, a set of trailing leaves off to the bottom left.

Thanks for stopping by

Hope you have an awesome day

Stay crafty my friends!

Newton's Nook Designs Cozy Release - Day 1

Hello Newton’s Nook Fans!

Welcome to DAY ONE of

Newton's Nook Designs Cozy Release!

We have FOUR NEW products that you are going to love!

First is the Heartfelt Coffee Stamp Set.

Using this stamp set I came up with this card.

I stamped and colored the coffee cups.
Next, I die cut the coffee cups using the Heart Frames Die Set.

Attached all the pieces on card base made of

dark blue card stock, with the sentiment stamped at an angle.

Did you check out that background??

This is the second part of our new release.

Coffee Beans Hot Foil Plate

Who said coffee beans must be brown?

These silver coffee beans make the card pop.

I had such a fun time foiling these beans on to different color card stock.

Like this card.

This brings us to the third item in the release.

Coffee Mug Hot Foil Plates & Die

For this card I originally wanted to use the hot foil plate with white foil,

But I like the way the spent foil looked, so I glued it to blue card stock

and die cut out to make the cutest coffee cup!

I used the Slimline Frames and Window Die to make my card.

For the two-side panel I used the Coffee Beans Hot Foil Plate along

with prism foil to create a wintery feel for this card.

The final item is so much fun!

Coffee Silhouettes Die Set

I just love little, tiny dies!

I had a blast using my leftover scraps of paper, die cutting, and gluing cups together.

I created these tags using the Coffee Silhouettes Die Set

I used the Fancy Edges Tag Die Set, and Neenah Desert Storm card stock for the base of my tag.

Coffee House Stories 6x6 Paper Pad was a must for these tags.

I also used the circle from the Circle Frames Die.

Scalloped Square from the Slimline Frames and Window Die.

Sentiments came from the Heartfelt Coffee Stamp Set

Hope you enjoyed my take on these fun NEW items

Inky Paw's Challenge 191 - Color Challenge

Hello Inky Paws Fans!

We are at the halfway point of this current challenge.

Here is my take on the challenge.

For this challenge I used the following Newton’s Nook Design’s product.

Dainty Daisies

Basketweave Stencil

Coffee House Stories 6x6 Paper Pad

For this challenge I stared with a basic tag shape from my stash.

I used 110lb white cardstock for my tag.

Heavy weight cardstock is necessity for the embossing with a stencil.

For this next step I grabbed my Basketweave Stencil.

I lined up my stencil on my tag and taped the stencil down.

I ran my stencil and paper thru my die cutting machine.

with my embossing plate and Vola! A beautifully embossed tag.

Next, I rummaged thru my Newton’s paper and found a leftover square.

of gray paper with white hearts from Coffee House Stories 6x6 Paper Pad.

I added that to the front of the tag with glue.

My stamped image of choice is Dainty Daisies

Who does not love yellow daisies!

After I colored in the daisies and die cut them out, I added.

them to the front of the tag with foam tape.

The final step is to create a banner with red cardstock.

I stamped on a sentiment and embossed with white cardstock.

I also added on some white droplets to match the center of the daisy.

This completes my take on this challenge.

I Hope this gives you a bit of inspiration for your next project.

Inky Paw's Challenge 176 - Color Challenge

Hello Inky Paws Fans!

We are at the halfway point of this current challenge.

Using the challenge colors, I came up with this card.

For this challenge I used the following Newton’s Nook Design’s product.

Newton’s 4th of July

Frames and Flags Die Set

Circle Frames Die Set

Coffee House Stories 6x6 Paper Pad

Love and Meow’s 6x6 Paper Pad

To start this card, I rummaged thru my Newton Paper Packs and went looking for paper

that would match the challenge colors. For the background I found a light blue striped.

I also found a red polka dot paper that I will also be using on the card.

The light blue stripes I die cut out using the Frames and Flags Die Set.

This would start my card front.

The red polka dots paper I die cut out with the 3 ¼ circle from the Circle Frames Die.

Next, I stamped and colored my image from Newton’s 4th of July.

When coloring the rocket, I matched the colors to the striped paper and

used a much of the challenge colors that I could.

I went into my die stash and found a die circle that was slightly smaller that the polka dot paper one.

After I die cut this out using white cardstock, I stamped on some of the

fireworks from the stamp set and embossed them with Holographic embossing powder.

To assemble the card, I created a card base with dark blue card stock.

I glued my stripped paper on top of that. To make my card front.

I glued my die cut circles together and add newton on top with foam tape.

After I added this to the front of my card, I stamped on a sentiment

and added on a couple of the stars from the stamp set.

I hope this inspires you to try out this fun challenge.
