Midsummer Blues Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

 

Happy Wednesday Everybody!

Time for a NEW challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

 This week we are having the MIDSUMMER BLUES

    We are featuring products by MEMORY BOX

You do not have to use them to join in but

 if you have some, we would LOVE to see them used.

I know we are all a little blue right now with so much going on in the world.

I used my favorite Memory Box Die the Rectangle Basic Die Set

and the Memory Box Cottage Stripes and Dots 6x6 Paper

and created this quick card that is sure to brighten anyone’s day!

The base of this card is Simon Says Stamp Cardstock in Soft Navy.

On top of that I used the blue stripes from the

 MEMORY BOX COTTAGE STRIPES AND DOTS 6X6 PAPER.

 A simple die cut square of white card stock is where I placed my sentiment.

This sentiment come from the

Beautiful Butterflies Stamp Set by Simon Says Stamp.

To complete the card, I add some butterflies from

 the same stamp set as my sentiment. 

The butterflies are colored in with

Spectrum Noir Blue Classique Markers.

  I fussy cut out my butterflies and placed on my card with foam tape

That completes my take on Midsummer Blues
