Newton's Nook Designs April Release - Floral Delights

Hello Everybody!

We are on the second day of our new release!

Flower lovers, this one is for you!

Floral Delights Stamp Set

Using this stamp set I created this tag! 

 

To start this tag, I used Trailing Leaves Stencil and some beautiful orange card stock.

I taped down my stencil to the cardstock and then used the

following Distress Oxides to blend up the color.

At the bottom there is Squeezed Lemonade, Carved Pumpkin

in the middle and at the top Picked Raspberry.

The idea was to just create a hint of something in the background.

I placed the card stock aside to dry and turned my attention to the stamp set.

 I stamped out the echinacea stamp from the Floral Delights Stamp Set

and colored this flower in keeping the background colors in mind.

Once my coloring was done, I die cut out my flower using the coordinating dyes.

 I also colored and die cut out a couple of bees.

With my background now dry, I use the bookmark die set and die cut out my background.

I decided to be bold and stamp my sentiment directly on the bottom with black ink.

I added my echinacea flower to the center popped up with foam tape.

The bees were added on next, also, popped up with foam tape.

This tag was super easy, and I loved the way everything turned out.

 This concludes my take on these fun floral themed products!
