Newton's Nook Designs April Release - So Many Books

Hello Everybody!

Today we celebrate the first day of our new Release!

We are featuring not one but 2 new items for you!

  Never Enough Books Stamp Set

AND

Bookmark II Die Set

First up the Never Enough Books Stamp Set.

Using this stamp set I created this card.

To start this card, I created a card make with Neena Desert Storm Cardstock.

To the front of this card, I added a rectangle of

2 x 4 ½ yellow plaid cardstock from the Bright Basics Paper Pad.

Next, I stamped my images from Never Enough Books Stamp Set.

Once everything was colored in, I decided on the placement of my shelves.

Also, where to place the sentiment banner?

That is when I came up with the idea to place the banner behind my books.

I trimmed the banner slightly and glued the banner flat on the front of the cardstock.

I used foam tape to give the shelves dimension and placed them on top of the banner

To finish this card, I added a couple of matching enamel dots.

For the Bookmark II Die Set

Here is my take.

I grabbed my container of scrap paper and stared making

a whole bunch of books using the Die that comes with this bookmark.

I placed the books aside to dry and started to create the tag.

I used the red plaid paper from Bright Basics 6x6 Paper Pad

and white card stock to create the front and back of the tag.

I also die cute the small, scalloped oval from the Oval Framed Die Set.

I glued the pieces of the tag together and added the oval to the front.

Next, I chose 5 books from the pile that I had made and glued them on the front.

To complete this tag, a simple sentiment banner and some black and white twine.

This concludes my take on these fun book themed products!

This and all the other new products will be available on Friday April 19th.

Happy Shopping!

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Stay craft everyone!
