We are at
the halfway point of the current Inky Paws Challenge!
Currently featuring a sketch challenge.
I decided to use elements in the sketch as the elements for my
card,
and turn the sketch sidways!
Since we are currently under a state of construction
here at
my house, anything wood related is kind of on my mind.
I went into my stash of
paper and found
this super cute wood replica paper with the hearts on it to use
as my card base.
I am quite fond of the Newton’s
Sweetheart Stamp Set,
I choose to use that as the feature point of my
card.
Using two of the sentiments from the Newton Sweetheart Stamp
Set,
as the top and bottom elements stamping them
directly on my patterned paper.
Rummaging around YouTube one evening,
I found this video on
how to use your stencils for embossing.
I gave that a try using the Tumbling
Heart Stencil.
This became the background behind the kitties.
I colored in my kitties with my paper choice in mind and
popped them up using foam tape.
I assembled everything into a card base and added on some wood
dots as side elements.
Now it is your turn!
use the link in the picture above to show
us how you get your PAWS INKY.
Links to the goodies are below.
Thanks for stopping by.
