May Your Days Be Filled IPC 92

Where does the time go?
We are at the second half of the Inky Paws Challenge
Here is the sketch we have for you.

We are having some dreary days here in Texas.
Time to brighten things up bit.

May Your Days Be Filled a card by Diane Morales| Loads of Blooms Stamp Set by Newton's Nook Designs

I had a blast creating this card, and it all starts with the background.
Using Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass Distress Ink, I blended the Distress Ink
together using brightercolors merging into a lighter color at the bottom.

Next step, the background element.
This comes from the Small Postage Edged Rectangle in the Framework Die Set.
Die cut out a piece of white cardstock, then line up the edges TO THE RIGHT,
running the die thru the machine again to create the element.

Using the Loads of Blooms Stamp Set, I stamped and die cut out my images.
Using Sharpies and Distress Ink, I colored everthing using bright colors.
My final touch is the “grass” at the bottom. Using Mowed Lawn Distress Ink,
The “grass” is inked on white cardstock and die cut

I added my sentiment, assembled my card,
and add some flowers for color.

I love the way this card came out!
What fun it was to find a way to interpret this
sketch in such a colorful way.
I hope this inspires you to be bold and have some fun with the sketch.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Diane

  1. This is so cute! I love that you used the frame die to make a smaller sized scalloped edge! Such a fun idea and the bright colors are perfect for spring!
