Add Some Metallic Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

It is time to add SOMETHING METALLIC

Featuring product by Studio Katia!

Unfortunately, I could not get any Studio Katia product in time for this challenge.

I did however receive my Simon Kit of the month!

Which had the Beautiful Butterfly Stamp Set

Check out this card.

 

Keeping it simple for this challenge.

I started with a basic splat background using the NEW Speckled Egg Distress Ink.

I used Versamark Black Ink and stamped on my Sentiment and butterfly’s

Now for the metallic….

If you do not own this, you MUST HAVE IT!

Solar Flare Stickles Glitter Gel.

I do not think my pictures do all this shine justice.

 I just LOVE this gel so much! Check out that metallic flair!

 I just smeared me with my finger until I achieved the look I was going for.

I also added gold dots from my Uni-Ball gold pen to accent around the butterflies.

To finish my card, I created a stacked look using the Stitched Rectangles Dies.

I did sneak in a layer that I created using the Speckled Egg Distress Ink.

This color goes so well with the gold sparkle on my card.

The extra color layer was just what this card needed.
