Humorous/Fun Card - Simon Stays Stamp Wednesday Challenge

Here at the

This week it is time to make a Humorous/ Fun Card

Featuring Stamps by RILEY AND COMPANY

You do not have to use them to join in, but

if you have some in your stash, we would LOVE to see them used.

It is also STAMPtember!

A month-long celebration of all things stamping and crafty!

Here is the stamp I chose for this challenge.

“Sarcastic Sunshine” by Riley and Company

Along with the “Hello Sunshine” Stamp Set by Simon Says Stamp

AND some items from my stash, I came up with this card.

I am a HUGE fan of Riley and Company.

They have the BEST digs and dings that you can put on a card.

I started this card by die cutting out a square from my

Stitched Rectangles Die by Simon Says Stamp.

I used the sunshine from the “Hello Sunshine” Stamp Set

My Mini MISTI helped to line the stamp up in the center and stamp

Squeezed Lemonade and then Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxide Ink.

When the Oxide ink was dry, I used Versafine Ink in Onyx Black

and stamped my sentiment right across the top.

I wanted the sentiment to POP so I decided to heat set the

 sentiment with clear embossing powder.

The rest if the card I just created layers using my go to die

the Rectangle Basic Set by Memory Box.

I decided my card need a little something extra.

The “Hello Sunshine” stamp set had the perfect little add-on and

the Simple Wavy Banners by Lawn Fawn completed the card.

And that completes my take on a Humorous/ Fun Card!

I almost forgot the good news!

The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp are generously giving away a FABULOUS $25 voucher to shop at the  Simon Says Stamp Store! All you must do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following this week’s prompt, and add a link in the Inlinkz at the bottom of this post!
