At the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge
We are celebrating!
with not ONE but TWO prizes this week! And ……
This we are featuring our very own SIMON SAYS STAMP
product for the challenge
You
do not have to use the featured company to join in.
If
you have some of their product in your stash?
We
would LOVE to see them used.
Here
is my take on this challenge.
I started with The Thankful Flowers Stamp Set.
I used three colors of my Spectrum Noir markers to create shadow and depth on my flowers.
While the ink was drying on my flowers, I turned my attention to the base of the card.
I wanted to use as much black as posable, so I decided to break up all that black with texture. For the base of the card, I used the Fractured Background Stamp and clear embossing powder.
it gives the card recipient just a little something extra to look at.
For the next layer I used the Postage Stamp Edge Frames Die to create area for my sentiment to go, a sentiment from the Sketched Flowers Stamp Set with some beautiful elegant lettering.
I stamped on my sentiment and heat set with white embossing powder.
Now back to the flowers, I used the die set for the Thankful Flowers Stamp Set
to cut two other layers of card stock.
I chose not to use foam this time because it looked way to bulky.
Once all the layers were dry, I attached the flowers to the front of the card.
On a personal note, a huge THANK YOU to The Wednesday Challenge.
Thank You SO MUCH for supporting and believing in this Crafy Girl.
