Here is my take on this challenge.

 

For this card I used the following product

YAY YOU CLEAR STAMP SET

DIMENSIONAL STARS EMBOSSING FOLDER

Let’s get started on this card.

The first thing I did was decide on 3 bold colors of cardstock 

that will be the stripes on the front of the card.

I die cut each of the three cardstocks into 1 ½ inch strips.

I laid out the colored cardstock to check the color order.

 Once I liked what I saw, I glued the stripes to a base made with plain white card stock.

I gave the card front a quick spray of water (to make a deeper impression)

and lined up the card front in the embossing folder.

After running the card front thru my embossing machine, I placed the card front aside to dry a bit.

Using a 2 ½ inch circle nesting die I die cut out a place for my sentiment.

I stamped on my sentiment and stamped “congratulations”

 on a piece of scrap cardstock that I made into a sentiment strip.

I am now ready to assemble the card.

I trimmed my card front down to a standard A2 side and attached

 this to a card base that I made from white cardstock.

I attached my sentiment circle and sentiment strip to the front next with foam tape

To complete my card, I added some matching gems to the front.

This completes my take on BRIGHT AND CHEERFUL
