First card of 2024

 Let us start the year off right with this fun and easy card for Valentine.

For this card I used

Puppy Heart

Love and Woofs 6x6 paper pad

Oval Frames Die Set. 

To start this card, I used the cute strip paper from the Love and Woofs 6x6 paper pad.

This paper has 6 rows of puppies, I used three rows

I cut the strips at the top and bottom of the image.

The strips should be approximately 1 ¼ inches to fit on a 4 ¼ x 5 ½ card.

Next, I spaced my strips on the front of my pre-made card base.

I made sure to stagger my strips so that the same image did not appear above or below.

I snipped the edges of the strips to fit on the front of the card and glued them down.

 Die cutting the scalloped oval from the Oval Frames Die Set is next.

To add sparkle, I coated the oval with a clear glitter pen and placed the oval aside to dry.

I Stamped and colored the image from Puppy Heart is my final part of this card.

I wanted this card to be matchy-matchy to the background and colored it accordingly.

The oval was now dry, so I added it to the front of the card.

My stamped image to the oval with foam tape.

I also added sparkle pen to the heart on the image and a couple of gems for bling.

That completes my first card of the year.

Hello Inky Paws Fans!

We have a NEW challenge coming your way.

Here is my take on the challenge.

For this challenge I used the following Newton’s Nook Design’s product.

NEW Puppy Heart

Circle Frames Die Set

A Dog’s Life 6x6 Paper Pad

Autumn 6x6 Paper Pad

 Welcome to the start of a new challenge.

We have four amazing challenge colors for you to work with.

I decided to us the NEW Puppy Heart Stamp Set for my card.

Obviously the heart was going to be red, so I had to thumb thru my

Newton’s paper pad stash to see where the other colors were going to come from.

I found the yellow polka dot paper from the Autumn 6x6 Paper Pad

The gray paper with the dog bones came from A Dog’s Life 6x6 Paper Pad.

I created a card base with gray cardstock and a nesting circle die from my stash.

I used the dies from the Circle Frames Die Set to cut out the papers that I chose.

Once everything was layered onto my card base, I added on my image from the

Puppy Heart Stamp Set on the front of the card with foam tape.

I also added a couple of extra hearts as well.

This completes my take on this challenge.
