Reach For the Stars Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

Hi Everybody!

Time for a NEW challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week we want you to REACH FOR THE STARS

                                     This week we are featuring products by or very own Simon Says Stamp

You do not have to use them to join in but if you have some, we would love to see them used.

I love making shaped cards. For the base of this card

 I used the Nested Circle Wafer Dies by Simon Says Stamp

MY stamp set of choice is “Home Sweet Home” by Simon Says Stamp.

I stamped my houses toward the bottom and colored my scene in using markers from my stash.

Then I inked up my sky using Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide.

 Since this ink is water reactive, I added just a little water and dragged my color

down between the buildings to give my “sky” that just before sunset look.

Now to add my Stars.  I used the Tim Holtz Swirling Stars Thinlits Dies.

I bravely die cut right on top of all that color.

When I attached my card to the actual card base the stars appear white.

To add some shine to my stars I used a smear of

“Moon Dust” Stickles Glitter Gel right over the top of the stars.

For a final touch, I stamped my sentiment on the top of my card

 And added some Glossy Accents to the windows on my buildings

That completes my card!
