You do not have to use
the featured company to join in.
If you have some of
their product in your stash?
We would LOVE to see
them used.
Here is my take on this
challenge.
I chose to use the Hoiden Stencil by Brutus
Monroe for my card.
I inked up my stencil
with a combo of Faded Jeans.
and Hickory Smoke Distress Ink onto#120-pound
white cardstock.
I just love the large
open space that this stencil has with a unique round design.
After the ink dried, grabbed a mini mister with a little bit of water
and Confetti White Perfect Pearls.
A quick spritz on top
gave the front of this card some pretty sheen.
I attached my card to a card base made from Soft Navy Cardstock.
Next, I die cut out the Sending Smiles die out
of
Lipstick Red and White cardstock by Simon Says
Stamp
The sentiment comes
from the Just Miss You Stamp Set by Simon Says Stamp.
A finishing touch of
Christmas Red Stickles on the heart completes this card.
That completes my take on Make Your Own Background.
I almost forgot the good news!
The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp are
generously giving away
a FABULOUS $25 voucher to shop
at the Simon Says Stamp Store!
