Sparkle and Shine - Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

SPARKLE AND SHINE

Featuring stamps and dies

Here is my take on this challenge.

I love stencils!

There is nothing more fun than to ink up a stencil and create a background.

My stencil of choice is the Mermaid Scales Stencil by Gina K.

For my added SPARKLE for the challenge, I am going with

 The Wild Lilac Glitz Glitter Gel also by Gina K. Designs

Using a spatula, I slathered the glitter gel on Royal Purple Card Stock by Simon Says Stamp.

While that was drying, I turned my attention to creating the greeting for the front of the card.

I have a pack of Glimmery Assortment Pack Card Stock by Simon Says Stamp.

I thumbed thru all the shiny shades until I decided on the brassy gold color.

Using the Hello Die by Gina K. Designs I die cut out my word.

I also die cut out several pop-up layers using Black Black8 Card Stock by Simon Says Stamp.

At this point the glitter gel was dry and I decided to do something different.

Using Nesting Circle Wafer Dies by Simon Says Stamp I carefully die cut out my glittery card front.

I also made a card base using the circle dies and Royal Purple Card Stock.

Once my card was assembled, I attached my hello sentiment to the front.

For a final touch of bling, I used some gems from the

Over the Rainbow Sparkly Shaker Mix by Little Things from Lucy’s Cards

 and that completes my take on SPARKLE AND SHINE
