THANKS/THANKSGIVING

   Featuring stamps and dies by

Here is my take on this challenge.

My stamp set of choice for this challenge is:

Marigold Flower Clear Stamp by Technique Tuesday

 I just love the marigold flower, being Hispanic this flower means

a SO much to me and my culture. We always give this flower as a gesture of thanks

to those who help us in life and to those who have passed on.

I wanted the flower to center of attention. I decided to just stamp out the

Marigold on white card stock that I precut using Rectangle Basic Set by Memory Box.

Just black and white.

I took my black alcohol marker and inked around the edge to create a boarder on the rectangle.

Next, I used Lavender Card Stock by Simon Says Stamp and created a card base.

Using the same lavender card stock and the Blossom Field Embossing Folder,

I created a background for my Marigold card front.

I like the way the embossing folder gives a lovely texture to the card.

To finish this card, I used a thank you sentiment strip ( popped up with foam tape)

and some light silver sequins to add a pop of bling.

Yes, this is a CAS card, but think of all the possibilities if you had to make a lot of these cards.

A simple tweak here and there, can produce simple and unique card for mass production.

This completes my take on THANKS/THANKSGIVING
