Loads of Love a card by Diane Morales using the Love Quarry Stamp Set by Newton's Nook Designs

I used the dump truck from the Love Quarry Stamp Set as my main element.
Printed paper from my stash makes up the background for this card

On top of that, I created the background element using the Land Boarders Die Set.
My sentiment is stamped on the banner element that I created with kraft cardstock.
I hope you enjoy my take on this challenge.

Easter Lily and Spring Colors IPC 119

We are at the halfway point of the current
Inky Paw’s Challenge!
Here is the current challenge

I used these beautiful challenge colors and I created this card.

Easter Lily's a card by Diane Morales using Easter Lily Stamp Set by Newton's Nook Designs

In the background is the NEW PETITE FLOWER STENCIL using the challenge colors.
On top of background is the Frame with the scallop on the inside

inside the frame is the EASTER LILY’S STAMP SET and sentiment
I made this card for my dad.
A little story. I am VERY allergic to Easter lilies.
I can not even be in the same room as these lilies they affect my breathing.
When I turned 50 years old, my dad came over with a huge bouquet.
He had totally forgot I had this allergy, he just being an awesome dad
bring his daughter a bouquet of flowers.
Not wanting to sadden my dad, I left the flowers in the house thru my birthday party.
By the end of the night I was wheezing.
Every time I see this stamp set, it will always remind me
of my dad and the night, I almost died on my birthday.
 Miss you dad.
 I love you very much!
In these unusual times make sure to hug your love ones.
Don’t forget to spend some “YOU” time.
Send a card to a friend
We are all in this together.

Have a great week.
Hugs

Blue Sky Again IPC 119

Who’s ready for a new INKY PAWS CHALLENGE!
This challenge is a favorite of mine!
COLOR CHALLENGE!

Ok the rules are simple.
Grab you favorite Newtons Nook Stamps
use the colors in a creative way.
Here is my take on the challenge!

Blue Skys Again a card by Diene Morales using Umbrella Pals Stamp Set by Newton's Nook Designs

Newton fans know the UMBRELLA PALS stamp set has been out for a while.
I have had this idea in my head for that long!
When I saw RAINDROPS STENCIL
Idea complete!
I chose the bear umbrella, because in my mind bears can be
ANY color, like a Care Bear.
I already knew I wanted the background to be lilac and blue.
That left the pink and yellow color for the bear.

Just kept the coloring simple.
Using the RAINDROP STENCIL and Distress Oxide Ink I inked up my raindrops.
I purposely kept my edges lighter to have a faded look.
Kept it simple by stamping my sentiment on the front.
I placed my card on a base that was die cut from the
When I finished, I took a good look at my card
and decided it was too FLAT.

I grabbed my bottle of Glossy Accents and coved
some of the drops around my umbrella.
And that completed my inspiration!
Now it your turn!
How will you use these great colors?

Spring Time IPC 118

Who is ready for the second half of the current Inky Paws Challenge!
In case you did not know here is the current challenge.
For this half of the challenge I used the Hop Into Spring Stamp Set.

Spring Time a card by Diane morales using the Hop Into Spring Stamp Set by Newrton's Nook Designs

I colored in my stamped image first using my favorite bright Sharpie colors.
I then went through my paper stash and found this large colorful polka dot paper.

Just a white panel with the sentiment brakes up
the colors of the bold polka dot background.
A simple but bold card that is sure to brighten someone’s day.
Now it is your turn!

You still have one more week to play along with the current challenge.

Seeing Spots IPC 118

Time for a NEW Inky Paw’s Challenge!
Ready to see spots!
I am struggling with a craft rut lately.
Everybody goes thru ruts where nothing inspires you or everything is boring.
I’m not sure HOW I came up with the idea to make my own polka dots.
Maybe it was just the desire to create something from scratch.
I told myself to just try, and I love the results!

Seeing Spots a card by Diane Morales using Newton's Crafty Cardio Stamp Set by Newton's Nook Designs

First thing you need is this pencil or one like it, with a FLAT ERASER!
I chose random bright colors and just started laying down dots.

I know my dots are not perfect and my lines are wonky, that OK!
This is about being creative and having FUN!

I used Distress Oxide Ink
This MUST BE heat set or you dots will smear!
When my dots dried, I used Newton’s Crafty Cardio Stamp Set
I colored my stamped images to match the background.

The whole card has a kind of 80’s flair to it!
Bright and cheerful!
I hope this inspires you to create a fun card or project
and share it with us!

IPC 117 Round Card - Purple wave

Hey everybody!
We are at the halfway point of the current Inky Paws Challenge.
Check out the challenge we have for you!
 Inky Paws Challenge

Here is my take on the challenge sketch.

A card bt Diane Morales using the Tides of Love Stamp Set by Newton's Nook Designs

I knew I wanted to use the TIDES OF LOVE STAMP SET
Why not make this project crazy different with a round shaped card!
I colored in the whale in traditional gray colors,
which I placed on a basic round tag shape.
For the purple waves in the background, I used the

I used the hearts in the stamp set to create the final element from the sketch.
To complete my card, I stamped on a sentiment and added
some purple twine to the top of the tag to tie in with the purple waves.
And that is my inspiration!!!!
I hope this inspires you to create something fun
with challenge sketch and share it with us!

IPC #117 You Move Me!

Happy Monday!
Its time to start a NEW Inky Paws Challenge!
Check out the amazing sketch we have for you!
 inky paw's challenge

When I first saw this sketch, I was not sure what I was going to make.
I know I wanted to use the LOVE QUARRY STAMP SET, but how?

I was browsing thru the Newton’s Nook website when I came across this stamp set.

You see the caution on the top off the stamp set!
I thought to myself “caution tape”
That thought turned into this.

I created the caution tape first.
Easy enough!
I then decide to lay out the card using the
that is chopped slightly at the bottom to fit the card.

The orange heart paper in the background decided the color theme for this project.
I added additional Heart rocks by using just the top of the
dumpster in the same stamp set.

To finish my project, I colored my skip loader in traditional construction colors.
I add the element at the top of the tag, by using some
twine that wrapped my Newton’s Nook Order.

And… that is my inspiration for this challenge!
Now it is your turn!
Take this amazing sketch and you favorite Newton’s Nook stamps
And
