Inky Paw's Challenge 197 - Color Challenge

Hello Inky Paws Fans!

We are at the halfway point of this current challenge.

Here is my take on the challenge.

For this challenge I used the following Newton’s Nook Design’s product.

Heartfelt Roses

Serene Stripes Stencil

Heart Frames Die Set

Banner Trio Die

I started this card by creating the background for this card.

First, I inked up the Serene Stripes Stencil onto white cardstock

Next, I added ink over the stripes that I created.

I let the ink dry and then misted a bit of water on top to let the ink wick.

When the ink was completely dry, I die cut out my background

with the largest of the Heart Frames Die Set.

For my card front I stamped and colored the roses from Heartfelt Roses.

I used the scalloped hearts from Heart Frames Die Set.

To assemble my card, I created a card base out of the largest heart die.

I glued my background to the base and then added my scalloped heart to the front with foam tape.

I stamped a sentiment on a banner that I created from the Banner Trio Die.

After folding the banner into the shape that I needed, I added the banner to the front of the card.

This completes my take on this challenge.

I Hope this gives you a bit of inspiration for your next project.

Inky Paw's Challenge 157 - Halloween Theme

Hello Inky Paws Fans!

We are at the halfway point of this current challenge.

Here is my take on the challenge.

For this challenge I used the following product.

Brooms and Boo’s Stamp Set

Serene Stripes Stencil

Frames and Flags Die Set

I want to be complicated on my cards but, I really don’t think that is my style.

I love a lot of white space. I LOVE color.

I am learning to embrace there things.

To start this card, I used the Curved Edge Rectangle from

the Frames and Flags Die Set die cut out in white card stock.

The color combo of choice for this card is

Cracked Pistachio and Faded Jeans Distress Oxide.

Using the Serene Stripes Stencil, I inked up only the lower left corner of my card front.

Next, I stamp and colored in my images from the Brooms and Boo’s Stamp Set.

I like to stage everything on my card front with blue tape so that

I can get the placement of my sentiment correct.

Once my sentiment was on my card, I finished card by adding the witch, bats,

and moon to the card front with foam tape.

To finish my card, I created a card base with the same Curved Edge Rectangle

die to produce a shaped card.

This completes my take on our theme challenge.

Now it is your turn.

Take the challenge theme and show us your take.

Inky Paw's Challenge 149 - Color Challenge

Hello Inky Paws Fans!

We are starting a NEW challenge this week.

It is color challenge time!

Take the above colors and your favorite

Newton’s Nook product and create something to share.

Here is my take on the challenge.

I was inspired by the challenge picture as you can see.

Let us start with the background.

I created a card base using the large Rounded Edge from the

Frames Squared Die Set.

The mint color and the Serene Stripes Stencil is how I created the base for my card.

I stenciled on my color and splattered on some white paint for texture.

The Cultivated Cacti is my stamp set of choice for this card.

I took color cues directly from the inspiration picture.

Using the rest of the challenge colors to create my vibrant succulents.

Utilizing neutral colors for my planters to make the challenge colors stand out.

I created a place for my sentiment and succulents using the Scalloped Heart

From the Heart Frames Die Set.

For a final touch I added on enamel dots.

That completes my take on these super cute challenge colors.

Now it is your turn.

Show us your take on this fun challenge.

Sticking by Me

We are at the halfway point of the current Inky Paws Challenge!
Check out the colors we have for you to work with.
Here is how I used the colors.

Sticking by Me a card by Diane Morales using the Cultivated Cacti Stamp Set by Newton's Nook Designs

Starting with one of my favorite Stamp sets CULTIVATED CACTI!
Why not have “mint” color cactus?
I used the Frame with Scalloped on the Inside from the
FRAMEWORKS DIE SET to create my coral element.

The black color was used as my sentiment on the Stitched Banner from
Not wanting to have a boring white background I used the SERENE STRIPES STENCIL and the embossing pad for my Cuttlebug and created a
cool textured behind my cactus.

So much fun!
Now that my project is done, what will you create?
We would LOVE to see using the link in the challenge picture above.
Thanks for stopping by.
Stay well and stay crafty.
Hugs
Diane

Three Tags and Santa Paws IPC 85

Welcome to the second half of the current Inky Paws Challenge.
We have some great colors for you to work with.

My inspiration for this challenge is not one, not two, BUT three tags!

Three Tags and Santa Paws a set of Tags by Diane Morales | Santa Paws Newton Stamp Set by Newton's Nook Designs

The first box features the round tag from the Tags Times Two Die Set
and just a portion of one of the stamped images
from the Santa Paws Newton Stamp Set.
 that I colored in.

A super easy one to do if you need a quick gift.
The second tag features the square tag from the Tags Times Two Die Set.
The background of this tag starts with the Serene Stripes Stencil
and texture paste that creates a nice backround for the tag.

The mouse, sentiments, and “presents” come from the Santa Paws Newton Stamp Set.
These images are simply colored in, die cut out and attached to the tag.
For a little bit of Flair, I outlined the bow on the top of the presents with gold pen.
The third box is my favorite.

I created a plain white box using a box punch.
Once I was done, I stamped the Newton Santa and mouse image from
the Santa Paws Newton Stamp Set.
I colored that in using Distress Ink and accented this with glossy accent.
The tag on top was created by using trees from the Festive Forest Stamp Set
and the North Pole image from the Santa Paws Newton Stamp Set.
I stamped, and die cut out two trees and glued those together.

To the top of this, I added the North Pole image that was colored in and die cut out.

I hope my tags inspire you to create some tags of your own and
share them with us at the Inky Paws Challenge.
I hope everybody has a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Thanks for stopping by

Let's Scoot! IPC 76

HAPPY MONDAY!

Welcome to a NEW Inky Paws challenge!
This is my favorite kind of challenge!
Check out these colors!

Okay, so you seen the colors and the challenge picture.
The first thing that comes to mind something fruity of course but let's switch that up a bit.

Let's Scoot! a card by Diane Morales| Newton Scoots By Stamp Set by Newtons Nook Designs

I chose to use the challenge colors kind of hidden.
This is the “Newton’s Scoots By” Stamp Set. Can you find the colors?
Starting with a green of course Newton would have a Newton's Nook Green scooter.
The red is on Newton’s scarf and the black is on his wheels and sentiment.
The background is the new “Serene Stripes” stencil.
For this background when we grabbed some Ranger Texture paste
and spackled up the background creating texture.

If you have not purchase this stencil, I highly recommended it,
I have not been able to put this one down!

I hope this inspires you to get out your favorite
Newton's Nook Stamp Set and get your Paws Inky.
Thanks so much for stopping by.

Have an amazing week!

Diane
